TrisetMaster908 Posted March 4, 2019 Report Share Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) Good stuff is that I survived a storm that hit this weekend, (now to the BS) but alot near me didnt, and a Tornado touched down just north of my town tearing up an airport hanger and a firestation(a small town airport/firestation not a big one) and damaging a popular restuarant(I have yet to go to) and atleast 23 are dead and I know that two kids ages 6 and 8 are among those. That was in Lee County an hour from me. I dont think any from my town lost their lives. I've seen photos and it looks like a bomb went off. Storms/Tornadoes are my #1 fear, I cant even stand to see tornados in TV shows or Movies, idk what the hell I'll do if I see one in person. I have had a 2nd row ticket to it for months now, and I dont think I can financially afford to be able to go anymore, so that kinda sucks. Just about everyone on the roster I really wanted to see is gonna be there, even Hana Kimura who isnt exclusive to them. I just had the New Orleans trip, then a bunch of my bills hit on the 1st, didnt really have the money for all of them, and am quite overdrafted right now. Lol. I'm really close to paying it off but I dont think it's gonna last that long. It's my bad knee too, already tore an ACL back in 2017. Off to a specialist Tuesday to tell me if I need surgery or not. Generations Posted March 12, 2019 Report Share Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) My Kindle Fire HD 10 decided to shit the bed. Probably a battery problem. Won't turn on, even when plugged in. Haven't even had the thing long. Think I bought it on Black Friday. I watched a video or two to see how to open it up...but I can't seem to actually do it. I pried the thing open along the seems...popped all the sides open...but it feels like it's still attached by glue or something, and I don't want to force it. Just kinda pissed off about the whole thing. I didn't use it for much, but it was good for a few apps that didn't fit on my phone (like Supercard)...and I was mainly using it to watch Funimation in bed at night. Actually a many years' old problem, but Paypal locked me out of my account as part of some kind of routine bullshit they do. They won't let me delete my account or create a new one until I do something to unlock it. Problem is that I can't, because my bank closed down and doesn't exist anymore. And I moved to a different town. So basically, I can't buy anything from eBay anymore. That sucks because a lot of the stuff I'm interested in is obscure or old and therefore not sold online anywhere else. I've been trying to buy a 90s PC from Amazon or something but... I came across one with no hard drive. Wtf? I wanted the OS and motherboard drivers, man. If you don't have motherboard drivers, you won't have sound, even if you install a sound card. As a writer, she should've understood the importance of something like that. Looking over the (fairly short) relationship, I'm not entirely sure what went wrong either. I know it's hard, and it's gonna be hard for awhile, but try to atleast think of and cherish all the good and fun and happy memories you got to share in your time on this Earth together. If you love him this much, know that he loved you even more and must've been so proud of you and happy when you were around. There's really not much words that can be said to express that I know a little about how you're feeling and I'm here for you and my condolences are with you and your entire family. I've decided to join up with Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai in completely *censored*ing over my knee. Again. It's my bad knee too, already tore an ACL back in 2017. Off to a specialist Tuesday to tell me if I need surgery or not. Also, I can't sleep because it hurts, so I tried cutting off my own leg, but that didn't work, so I grabbed some ibuprofen my boy. As someone who has had their share of knee problems in life, I absolutely feel your pain. It's so, so frustrating to feel like you've kinda recovered finally from a long leg injury, only to randomly reinjur yourself and start from zero and go through that long, depressing, painful healing process all over again. But you've done it before, you can do it again. You've survived everything in your life up to this point....you'll champion your way through this and just know to take whatever precautions you need to take in order for it to hopefully not happen again at any point this decade. lol. I wish you all the best. Please update us on how your recovery is going, if you got surgery, and/or how long the recovery process has been. The funny bit is that I originally destroyed my right knee playing soccer 2 years ago, then came back in January 18 and then twisted my left knee after 5 minutes and only just now had my first bit of action since that moment and now it's back to the right knee. Anyway, it's a torn ACL. It felt sorta okay, so I started walking on it again but apparently all that did, was damaging it further. So I definitely need physiotherapy for this and I'm seeing specialist #2 to determine whether I need surgery on top of that and if other shit is busted too. I'm kind of laughing about it, but it's annoying because I had to quit my job over it and I wanted the extra money to help with college and shit.
