Just watched highlights from Raw on youtube. Is the brand split pretty much over with or what's going on?

Oh and when did Brock become a party animal?

USA and FOX pressured WWE into ending the brand split in an effort to boost ratings, but instead of admitting defeat, they've introduced "Wildcard rules." Which means any 4 superstars from the other brand can appear on the other show whenever they want. This allows WWE to have top players like Roman, Kofi, AJ, Sami, Miz, etc. to appear on both shows.

Sami is lowkey the center of both RAW and Smackdown these days.

Seriously why are they pushing Corbin so much ?? dude is stale as hell lol

Some people fall perfectly in that "nobody likes or even cares for him, therefore we will push him in spite of them"-niche category that isn't a thing on any other show and Baron Corbin is one of them.

Just tryna figure out how much leeway WWE used with this Wildcard shit tonight lol

1. New Day

2. Dolph Ziggler

3. Roman Reigns

-R-Truth is 24/7 Champion, which has to be defended on both shows, so he doesn't count.

4. Carmella

That or Kofi/Woods count separately and Carmella is just a +1 to Truth (who doesn't count). Either way...makes no sense lmao

I definitely have my suspicions that WWE and AEW are working an inside relationship. There's just...a lot.

First, you have Jericho...not a smoking gun by any means...but, still Jericho. Then you have all of the backstage talents that randomly got released right before AEW swooped them up. Arn Anderson and Dean Malenko. You've got Goldust actually being released from his contract without a fight from WWE. You've got HHH's good friend Billy Gunn.

You've got Ambrose, who also didn't get much of a struggle from WWE when he wanted to leave...and made his AEW entrance through the crowd just as he used to do on WWE.

You've got Sami namedropping AEW on Raw...which is either something WWE told him to do, or it's something he shouldn't have done...but, the entire format of the segment was Sami with a live mic, and a live mic in the crowd (WWE isn't that stupid).

So, yeah...I'm feeling some weird vibes of a working relationship here...and I'm honestly not sure that I like it. AEW could have done it on their own if this is the case. Hell...it makes you wonder if even the production value for Double or Nothing (which reeked of WWE by appearance alone) was helped along. (I don't mean monetarily...I just mean pointers on how to make it look big).

I'm not gonna be "that guy" here, and say I believe anything either way...just some thoughts that I can't seem to drop. Believe me...I want to believe that AEW is doing things independently. I just...don't know. Hell..maybe that's what WWE is trying to do...plant the seeds of doubt and make it look like they are in control of AEW. I wouldn't put that shit past them either. That's some Donny Trump level shit. Could be about where the truth lies. Undermining the threat by making people think they are actually responsible for it.

Oh...forgot another name...Sasha Banks, who randomly just disappeared after Wrestlemania, with conflicting reports of her being unhappy or not, throwing a tantrum that can seem to neither be confirmed nor denied...a whole shaky story at best, and now she's on twitter hyping AEW and NJPW stuff. You'd really think that if she had a problem with WWE, we would have heard her say so by now. But again, it's just been this strange account of what may or may not have happened after Mania...
