It was a super card. Fyghter Fest and Fight for the Fallen were glorified house shows/exhibition events with Double or Nothing and All Out being full on ppvs but the official start will be the weekly tv show with storylines. These are nice to show as a sample and preview.

AEW has shown plenty of alternative stuff to WWE since day 1 though

This show just felt like a supercard. Nothing really felt together it felt broken up and just matches happening. Main event dragged alot, Feel like they have a lot to work on. Nothing about this really feels like a alternative to WWE.

Isn't anything that isn't WWE, an alternative to WWE? :hqhq:

Because nothing big story wise was supposed to happen on these shows. Granted they built towards All Out, as they should but for all intents and purposes these past two shows did their jobs by showcasing the roster and what AEW is capable of since, Fyter Fest was basically just part 2 of Kennys show he put on last year just under the AEW Banner, and Fight for the Fallen was literally a charity show. These shows arent supposed to be big PPVs like DoN was or All Out will be. Pretty much just filler and work for their roster to take in the mean time.
