Even if someone takes the title off Brock at Summerslam its only a matter of time before he gets it back and were right back at square one.

It will be Roman Reigns.

"This company wants us to not like their product. The entire storyline with Brock Lesnr is about pissing us the fans off. Wanting us not to watch their show. And they're proud about it working." - loosesly Brian Alvarez quote

Just because things are going just as planned, doesn't mean it's a good plan. Losing fans is not a good plan. No matter how you spin it.

People are getting worked so easily by this angle. I love it.

I know. Bedt angle in wrestling today.

Its really not because its turning people away. Like i legit want Brock to be stripped of the title because i dont wanna see him in wrestle or anyone beat him for it. I just want it off him.

Like it was supposed to be him at Mania? Right lol

They wanted to break Punk's record first

Punk wasn't Universal Champion.

New Day weren't World Tag Team Champions

Lesnar's gonna hold the title till at least Mania, where he either walks in (and maybe out) as a double champion, or leaves WWE after losses to Cormier and then Reigns (probably). And Strowman's around as a failsafe in case they need to get the title off him quickly.

not happening. they'd be *censored*ing idiots to keep it on him until then. he's dropping it at SummerSlam.

So he'll retain then

He could drop it at SS, but I just don't see it happening. And I'm not sure why it's that stupid - cos their champ won't be there while he trains for UFC? Shit, that's so different to what's been going on for the last year and a half. This upcoming fight with Cormier actually made me think it's more likely he'll retain than lose it anytime soon.

That's assuming Dana would allow him to do anything wrestling related while under UFC contract.

Would be *censored*y not to considering the fact WWE allowed it

To be honest, it's more risky for UFC to associate themselves with WWE than it is the other way around. A lot of UFC fans view WWE with disdain and would see it as "playfight shenanigans" impacting on "a real sport".

It would be like an actor taking an Oscar into the Octagon with him. WWE gets the rub here of "legitimacy" by being accepted by UFC. If you look at it, Brock really made his mainstream name as a UFC Champion following leaving WWE in the first place. The reason he was able to get the huge contract and mainstream attention was all down to that. The wider public couldn't care less that he was a former WWE Champion - or indeed that he's got the current Universal Championship either.

Obviously, but assuming he wants a UFC fight, he has to sign a UFC contract, no? And said contract could prohibit him from wrestling throughout its tenure, so as to keep him from excess risk of injuries.

This is literally his second UFC fight whilst under WWE contract and not UFC contract

His WWE contract allows for (at least) one UFC fight.
