Marchie Archie should have won gimmick of the year. Second aint bad, but it's not right. Would also have put CHIKARA higher than ROH and WWE for best promotion, although I haven't seen enough of the other two above it to judge.

Big well done to Zack Sabre Jr for his placing in the Technical list.

I don't agree with some of the winners but then I haven't seen all of the promotions featured. I agree with Tana as wrestler of the year as he's been fantastic as the Ace in NJPW. I haven't seen enough of Davey to know whether he deserves most outstanding wrestler but the bits of him I've seen in NJPW I've found him pretty average.

BI were nowhere near as good as Sekimoto/Okabayashi, BI were good but none of their tag title defences were very memorable whereas Sekimoto/Okabayashi were always on fantastic form. I'd have prefered Henry to have placed higher in Best on interviews but I'm not suprised he didn't.

Suwama/Akiyama should have got MOTY but I'm pleasantly suprised that it placed as highly as it did considering how few people watch AJPW. Litle Hash as Rookie of the Year is understandable but I feel Takumi Soya is better than him, which again comes down to nobody watching AJPW. Ricardo as best Non-Wrestler is good as he's the only thing interesting about ADR. I'm also pleased that Jado & Gedo got Best Booker but at litle disappointed that Mutoh isn't featured due to how well AJPW has been booked in the last year.

Punk as second... odd. I thought he would be first, I mean he did revolutionise an entire company to an extent within a year. I also find it odd that SmackDown wins show of the year, with the amount of bullshit promos and squash matches we see every week. But still, overall it's a fair ranking.

Congratulations to Hiroshi Tanahashi.

I watch AJPW! and yes, I agree Soya is a good performer, but Daichi has that 'feel' maybe because he is a Hashimoto.

ANX should be in the top 10 tag teams. And Steen and Generico's match from Final Battle 2010 should've been ranked higher.

Good ratings otherwise. Agree with most of it, especially the most disgusting promotional tactic.

Does Meltzer hate TNA or something? I agree that TNA was not great, but even this was too much.

TNA was decent, but compared to the other feds, they were basically at the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality. That's the only reason I can think of as to why Meltzer likely "awarded" them as the worst company.

Meltzer does hate TNA, that's no big secret.

My main beef with the WON awards every year is mixing Wrestlers and MMA fighters on the same lists though. I'm not saying they shouldn't include MMA awards, and as far as like promoters go... yeah that's fine listing Dana and the UFC right there with the wrestling promotions.

But for the individuals, it's just weird to see a list of Most Charismatic stars, and have 8 wrestlers and 2 fighters. Why have 2 fighters even? You don't have to have great mic skills to be a star in MMA. They list Sonnen, and personally I find that guy annoying as all hell, not entertaining. Even for those who disagree with that... it still makes no sense to mix up wrestling and MMA all together on some of their lists. I wish they would do away with that.

It's a poll.

He's said some pretty positive things in regards to TNA recently actually.

CM Punk really should've won the Wrestler of the Year-award. As already mentioned, he changed the entire landscape of the WWE. The only thing that's against a No. 1 rank would be the fact he wasn't at the top for the first 5 months of 2011.

I don't get how people could vote for The Rock as WOFT; he had one match. Though I'm so glad I'm not the only one who finds Crimson overrated as *censored*.

Most of those seem pretty accurate but how is CM Punk overrated?

CM Punk really should've won the Wrestler of the Year-award. As already mentioned, he changed the entire landscape of the WWE.

There's your answer. He did no such thing, however people like to believe he has.

^^ While I agree that he hasn't "changed the entire landscape of the WWE", he's made a bigger impact not just on WWE but on pro wrestling in general than anyone else in the past six years. When John Cena first turned face he was a big deal. He was the first big star to have come around in a while, but by mid 2006 he was just a regular wrestler. Even when he was really big, he didn't get nearly as much attention from the media as Punk did. I really believe that Punk put the spotlight back on pro wrestling, even if it was just for a month or two. You have to give him credit for that.

I agree with his "awards" for the Victory Road BS, but TNA wasn't "all bad" :nono:

Punk as second... odd. I thought he would be first, I mean he did revolutionise an entire company to an extent within a year. I also find it odd that SmackDown wins show of the year, with the amount of bullshit promos and squash matches we see every week. But still, overall it's a fair ranking.

Congratulations to Hiroshi Tanahashi.

lolwut? SmackDown pretty much puts the wrestling in WWE.

Also, I don't get how Zack Ryder can be on both the top 3 of best and worst gimmicks.

I think Kidd should have gotten the most underrated... Also I find it offensive The Rock won was avaible to vote in anything but Box Office Draw.

Stuff I also don't agree with with:

Worst Feud: Cole vs. Lawler was way worse, absolutely disgusting in more than one way.

Worst Television Show:n RAW is far from beeing oh so bad, in wrestling it's about entertainment and it got better last year. To rank them so high is stupid imo.

Best Gimmick: I) think R-Truth should have been higher, he made himself stand out and it was actually entertaining.

Worst Gimmick: Now, while I don't agree I can see how Cole is voted for worst announcer as he's allmost allways storyfocused BUT his gimmick is far from the worst. Seriously.
