Still have a big problem with the Bucks and the way that they no-sell absolutely everything. It was a crazy match...but the Bucks leave a sour taste in my mouth as usual. Don't think that will ever change.

And delightfully might I add, to the point where I actually winced when he took big moves to the back.

I dont think a lot of people caught that.

Kenny vs Cody is gonna be amazing. I know Codys about to do his absolute best to run with Kenny and the match will be great because of it.

I know we have been saying it for a minute now but man...JR sounds like he finds it hard to give a damn. Barnett isnt much better either but JR...Jesus. They were both out there calling these matches like a game of baseball. They were witnessing a classic and barely sounded interested. Is JR just going through the motions now?

I feel like the Bucks have established a very YIng-Yang style now. Nick is still balls to the wall 10,000 mph batshit crazy, while Matt is now the more calmer slowed down psychology based wrestler. Resulting in perfect harmony and last nights main event was exactly that showcased that.

Oh and yeah Japanese commentary was the way to go for this one. Especially during the main event.

New Japan Pro Wrestling will be debuting at a legendary pro wrestling venue when they return to California later this year.

At Strong Style Evolved in Long Beach tonight, NJPW confirmed that they'll be holding a show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on Saturday, July 7th. The show will be called a G1 Special, which was the name of the two NJPW events in Long Beach last summer. Fighting Spirit Unleashed appears to be the tagline for it.

Dave Meltzer reported earlier this month that NJPW had a preliminary hold on the July 7th date at the Cow Palace. Meltzer noted that the listed capacity for pro wrestling is more than 14,000 people.

This year's G1 Climax tournament will begin at Ota Ward Gymnasium in Tokyo on July 14th. At the 2017 G1 Specials, Kenny Omega won a two-day tournament to become the inaugural IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.

WWE and the UFC both also have shows on July 7th. WWE will be at Madison Square Garden for a house show, which features Ronda Rousey making her MSG debut. For the UFC, Stipe Miocic will be defending his heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Is this the first time Rocky's actually wrestled with Roppongi 3K?

They did RPG3K with Rocky vs The Elite a while ago, at one of the new beginning shows I'm pretty sure.

Definitely 5 stars, 4.75 at the least.

I thought 4.75. Need to rewatch it with Jap commentary, maybe. I thought the LIJ vs Taguchi Japan match was really good, probs my 2nd fav match of the night. Interesting situation with Rey. Wish they'd have given Liger/Ospreay 5 more minutes and maybe 5 less to Hangman/White.

Archer looks like Matt Jackson's mega-evolution.

And I was slightly dissapointed about Chukie T's lack of shenanigans in the Tag match

This is purely speculative but it would appear Adam Page maybe splitting from Bullet Culb also.

I say this, I'm not sure what attire he wore last night, as "main event gear" have previewed his latest attire they have made for him and it distinctly lacks any reference to Bullet Club, as in logos or fonts:

They've done things like this before I recall them posting matching Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin attires before they reformed MCMG (not like anyone didn't see that coming a mile off mind)

Think it'd be a bad move for Hangman Page to move on from Bullet Club. He's just started to get over with fans and isn't viewed like the lower members of BC like Chase or Yujiro.

Executive Vice President of Impact Wrestling Scott DAmore watched NJPWs Strong Style Evolved last night, but not from home he was part of the crowd!

DAmore attended the event alongside his co-Vice President Don Callis, who also does commentary for New Japan, and they watched from the top of the bleachers while mingling with fans/friends.

Its no secret that Impact is looking to partner with other companies as part of their business plan going forward, and DAmore was last seen in NJPW after the company agreed to a working agreement with GFW, but theres no word on the two sides discussing any business this weekend.

Would you like to see Impact work with NJPW again? Tell us in the comments below.

I get the criticism but last night they sold perfectly. Nick legit kept doing the heavy lifting for Matt so they can do some of their moves because Matt's back is bad.

Hes always been a cat!

The way the Bucks 'no sell absolutely everything' lmao what a parrot.

Anyways, I see Page sticking with Cody throughout all of this. Who knows what'll come at the end.
