Lunchbox
*censored*ing Frazier CampbellNow I can empathise with you, Muur. lmao but also ffs, cuz it just puts us even closer to the bottom 3 Anyone see the rumors of the new European Superleague that is expected to launch in 2021? https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46078651 It wont happen and if it does it'll kill European football tbqh MLS and America can reign supreme! But I feel like there is a ton of stuff that wont work, if you get regulated where would to go? Back to your domestic league? And wouldn't teams lose a bunch of money on travel for away games, which also would alienate the away support aswell. Also if Zlatan leaves the MLS with his team not even making the playoffs, does that mean he conquered America or no?
Muur
MLS and America can reign supreme! But I feel like there is a ton of stuff that wont work, if you get regulated where would to go? Back to your domestic league? And wouldn't teams lose a bunch of money on travel for away games, which also would alienate the away support aswell. Also if Zlatan leaves the MLS with his team not even making the playoffs, does that mean he conquered America or no? apparently most games would use a neutral venue The main problem is that it wont take long before people stop giving a shit. Maybe the first season but then the "big games" are happening every week, and when that happens none of the matches are big and then if the top 6 leave the PL, that *censored*s the PL. I guess it might be "nice" for a smaller team to win the PL, but will it truely count when they won because the 6 best teams weren't there? Leicester won it the real way, but if like, idk, Everton won the PL, then they were actually the 7th best team in England and didnt deserve it there's also the fact that if they all DO leave... itll sure suck for the ones in the bottom half or the ones who lose every week. Say Spurs join and come 17th every season - are they gonna sign good players? will people care about the team in 17th in the "super league?" theyre better off in the PL coming 3rd-6th every year cuz they sure aint gonna come 3rd-6th in the super league lol. plus, it means the champions league becomes kinda pointless. What'd happen is that the UCL would get cancelled... or the teams in the PL wind up becoming more relevant than most of the teams in the super league and then you end up with Everton and Fulham being more supported than Liverpool and Chelsea because everyone stopped caring about them due to them finishing in the bottom half of the super league, and being bottom half means their players all leave etc. It's a really bad idea that would set europe back which in addition would impact the other continents too. just stick with the UCL as for Zlatan, he's on 22 goals in 27 apps - so yes ps, they get relegated to the Checkatrade Trophy and have to play against their own U23 Edited November 3, 2018 by Muur
maskedmaniac
Yeah the old MLS record for goals in a season was like 25 or 27 goals and he almost got that while missing like 7 games. Only reason the Galaxy had a chance this season was because of Zlatan.
Twisted...
Muur, how are Bolton getting on? Because we'll probably be back in the Championship next season at this rate, and it'll be nice to actually play against a team that we can win against

If this keeps us, it's a one way ticket to League One. and right now we're even shitter than we were last time. Muur
We've broke a record now. Five home losses in a row without scoring. Pretty sure the one before that was 0-0 too. Down to 23rd now! Also pretty sure we've only scored in two home games. *censored*ing voodoo curses
