Match Listing for The Attitude Era DVD & Blu Ray Revealed.

I think some people's expectations for this DVD were far too high. You couldn't have possibly expected WWE to have ALL of the key Attitude Era moments on this DVD as they have been released on many other DVDs. And if they had, I'm sure you guys would have complained that they didn't put anything new on the set! And it probably wouldn't have sold that well as there'd be no incentive to buy it if it had matches and moments that people already had on other sets. I'm not saying the content couldn't have been better, and I personally think WWE should have found a balance between released and unreleased content. But I can't be the only one who isn't surprised that things like Taker/Mankind haven't been put on DVD yet again.

I'm guessing disc 3 will all be from 2000 and maybe a few important things from 1999 such as Stone Cold being run down and Triple H/Stephanie wedding. Either way it looks really good and I'm gutted that it wont be released in the UK.

Why?

I just found out why the European fans won't get future releases, that sucks.

Why?

Silvervision was the Distributor for WWE DVDS and released them in Europe for the past 22 Years but in December their Contract will end with WWE and the last DVD they would be distributing was the NWO DVD that came out on Thursday. So until WWE find a new Distributor for Europe, Their will be no more WWE releases which sucks because their are quite a few 3 Disc Sets I wanted that come out next year. Hopefully WWE find a new Distributor by the end of the year.

Does anyone else feel the cover is a little cluttered with stars on?

I think just Rock, Austin & DX would of been sufficent.

Yeah, I hate the cover, it looks like a cheap photoshop job.

They should have just done something similar to the Attitude video game:

That was a great cover with the most iconic guys from that era on the cover.

The problem with the DVD cover is the fact that there's no "WWF Attitude" logo (They could have easily used the modified logo with WWE in the place of WWF, as seen on the cover of WWE 13).

The "WWF Attitude" ad campaign was the namesake of the Attitude Era. The first use of the name "Attitude Era", that I remember, was the WWE Anthology music CD.

I don't know if it was mentioned, but to people who are saying the cover looks awful, in case you didn't know why they did it, they were doing a cover similar to The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album cover.

I'm not impressed, they left out a lot of key moments in the Attitude Era.

Things that should be included that aren't.

1. Birth of DX, some matches including Shawn Michaels and Triple H, rivalries with Taker and the Hart Foundation.

2. Undertaker vs Mankind - King of the Ring 1998 (Hell in a Cell)

3. Mankind vs The Rock - Halftime Heat

4. The Rock vs Steve Austin - Wrestlemania XV

Sure there's Attitude Era footage, but no key moments which I think is ridiculous.

Man they left out the HITC Match that's basically the match that will always be remembered in the AE

I knew it was a take on the Beatles cover, but I just don't think it fits that era too well. During the attitude era, the music you think of is like Kid Rock or Limp Bizkit. Granted, they suck, but sitll.. that's the music that was the soundtrack of that era.
