Fried
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BP1_1DpeBE Gotta say Jazz is one of the hardest things to wrap my mind around. It seems a lot more connected to Soul than I had first imagined.

Royal Nakamura
I really need to listen to Pharoah Sanders' Karma soon enough. Alice Coltrane's Ptah, The El Daoud was incredible at first listen.
Royal Nakamura
Bitches Brew is crazy so far, like, the walking basslines and acoustic guitar. The chordssss, ah. It flows like one massive instrumental odyssey, tbh. You wouldn't know which song starts or finishes w/o further inspection
Fried
It always makes me laugh that Columbia felt the need to release singles from Miles Davis. There was a single released from 'In A Silent Way' which was edited down to a two minute long single. Don't know if it was just contractual but I can't quite imagine someone walking up to a jukebox and wanting to spin two minutes of Miles given the depth of his work.
