Yeah that trailer really didn't show anything we haven't seen from the gmaeplay videos the youtubers uploaded....Really disappointing. Was hoping there would be some cool new reveals at least, Punk confirmation or new moves, but really this could've been a highlight reel from footage the youtubers uploaded.

Chelsea looks great, glad shes in. Hope they got Samantha announcing her just like she does on tv.

Universe will be barely touched like every year, its the main mode that keeps the game replayable and they never give it any attention. I guarantee the only thing they did to it was add like a handful of new cutscenes and thats it. What i want to know is for rivalry matches are we gonna be able to select the opponent for one of the rivals or is it still gonna be out of our hands and a random wrestler from the roster selected to be the opponent. Cause that really hurt that feature for me not being able to personally select a jobber or whoever to be who one of my rivals faces in build to the ppv. Cause half the time it would be aa maine venter when i wanted to just squash someone.

Which are? i didn't really watch it, curious to know your concerns.

The Ramp camera view is so freaking good, just so much more pleasing visually seeing the stage and entire view of the ring.

I LOVE the attire they gave Cody, huge improvement from his attire in 2K23 that he never wore on tv once. Its by far the best attire he's ever wore imo, hopefully we aren't restricted from recoloring it and every part of it is able to be recolored. Can't stand it when certain designs on the gear is just not able to be recolored.

The hockey fight looks amazing, coolest thing i've seen of the new footage.

Man watching them play the game on upupdowndown makes me wanna tear my eyes out, they have no clue how to play the game, they just spam strikes, don't even attempt to do grapples, and basically play the game like an arcade button mash game. They've played a ton of these 2K releases over the years how are they still that bad at the game? No idea how you get any fun out of the game playing like they do. Can we get just 1 gameplay vid of someone actually putting on a halfway decent wrestling match to show off some changes and moves? Hopefully some youtubers do that cause it aint gonna be Upupdowndown, they play it like its Street Fighter.

They've had all Punk's moves, gear and everything in the games since he left WWE pretty much. So only thing is audio lines for him and maybe new entrance.

Punk and Jade i think for sure, they've both been in WWE long enough to make the cut at least for DLC, Jade's been there months even before The Rumble, Punk's been back since Survivor Series. Andrade nah theres zero chance, he just came back and the game comes out in like a month.

I dunno, i mean if Brock is in the WM showcase it would be complicated taking him out, cause i'm sure Brock vs Undertaker is in it, its literally one of the biggest moments in WM history him ending Taker's streak.

Praying to god Rollins has a new Stomp as i do every year, just give me a new animation of The Stomp with a pin combo for the love of god, he's had the same animated stomps since the first WWE game he was in, its badly outdated. He needs a corner version where he starts in the corner getting hyped before hitting it. And he needs a new side grounded version, preferably a way where we can run at a grounded opponent on their stomach and when we get in a certain range it triggers them to pop their head for a second to take the Stomp. Cause i hate the current version where he gets beside them, then has to back up and run. Theres no way to naturally hit a Stomp out of nowhere with the 2 we got, they look clunky and kill the flow when you hit them.

Yeah he's not a preorder bonus or a special edition, the most we can hope for is DLC, i just pray its not the last DLC, that would be brutal having to wait that long to get him in the game, cause what would that be Sept? Aug? They gotta strike while the irons hot and make him the first DLC pack.

No idea why they insist on giving dudes abs that don't have abs, Solo and Roman do not have abs, its so annoying how they wanna do favors for dudes by doing that, then creators have to go in and make textures to fix that crap. Heyman is bald with hair around the back and side, do they think people would like them to give him a full head of hair to make him look better?

Roman's model looks so much better this year, his hair and beard looks great, just wish he didn't have abs.

So Punk is not in the base then i take it or else they would've shown him in the trailer, which sucks. Only hope is DLC and its gonna suck if he's the very last DLC and we gotta wait till like Sept.

I just want confirmation CM Punk is in the game, hoping he's the cover star to tell everyone right off the bat he's in to increase the pre orders.

Hoping we get the Fight Pit match in 2K24, wouldn't be that hard of a match to implement imo, just a cage with no ropes on the ring and a platform to walk on on top of it. Would also love the Iron Survivor Challenge match with the penalty boxes, think that would be alot of fun to play.

I just want chain wrestling back in, that is crucial to starting a realistic match, cause very rarely do matches irl start with the wrestlers just running at each other or going straight into punches like you're forced to do in 2K23. Chain wrestling is the basic foundation to starting a wrestling match, it always feels awkward and not realistic when starting any match in 2K23 without it.

Punk is without a doubt making it in, they know he's the hottest name in the business, he gave WWE's youtube record breaking views within hours of his return, immediately became a top merch seller, and they know putting him in the game will increase the sales by a shit ton. With Cody it wasn't as urgent, they knew he wouldn't massively make a huge difference in game sales, but Punk for sure will. They aint gonna waste this moment to capitalize on how hot he is right now and boost the game sales.

My biggest concern is the Cody situation happening again, i'm fine with whatever gear they give Punk as long as he's in the game, but if we get another Cody situation where Cult Of Personality wont play on alt attires for Punk, then we got a problem if they got him in plain black trunks.

CM Punk from his first match back tonight Apparently the gear he had made for this match didn't fit so he had to wear some basic black trunks, watch 2K make that his gear for the game, just watch.

Eh its not happening anyways, was just saying as a huge Punk fan i'd love it, but yeah i get it would be disappointing only getting 1 wrestler from it. i just hope Punk is 2K25's showcase so we can get those models in the game.

Yeah this sucks tbh, cause it means they're still holding back on what current gen can really do for the game. This series needs to move on from last gen already, most everyone has one of the new consoles by now, if they don't you can get one cheaper than you could have before. They just seem so scared of losing the tiniest bit of money from those who haven't upgraded.
