It's part of the reason, but also because it doesn't have a layer system, you get to choose 1 item from each different category, it's easier to see what you're doing, stuff like that. While it seems to have a good selection of parts, You can't put designs on any attires other than some 6 or 7 pre made designs that are all over that you can't move. I tried tinkering with the colors to see if that would help......it didn't. Also, I did the button code to unlock everything...which I thought was permanent...it wasn't, but while I had everything unlocked I made his finisher the spear, and thankfully as long as you don't change it, it will remain unlocked on the character despite the lock icon being present once the code wears off.
