However, since McMahon wanted to do the induction himself, he made sure that those other two guys were busy with other things (inducting Watts and Steamboat). It also would have made more sense because both men respected and needed one another during their career together. Plus, everyone knows about their real life friendship. Flair doesn't make as much sense as McMahon because they didn't have as much of a screen presence together as McMahon and Austin did. However, Flair was the man that Austin wanted.
