While it has yet to be officially confirmed, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his arch enemy, Vince McMahon. This is according to columnist Ken Hoffman of the Houston Chronicle.

They didn't want him to do it, but I read that he was going to.

The two people that Austin wanted for his induction the most was Flair and Ross.

However, since McMahon wanted to do the induction himself, he made sure that those other two guys were busy with other things (inducting Watts and Steamboat). That way, he doesn't look like the bad guy.

It's a smart move because there's a lot of idiots out there that don't see that.

Ross would have been better than McMahon. It also would have made more sense because both men respected and needed one another during their career together. Plus, everyone knows about their real life friendship.

Flair doesn't make as much sense as McMahon because they didn't have as much of a screen presence together as McMahon and Austin did. However, Flair was the man that Austin wanted.

I agree. JR Would have been a better pick but Vince would make it very interesting.
