They are leaving money on the table by not making those things usable in other modes. I feel like so many more people would want to play that mode and unlock those things, possibly spending actual money to do so, if you could. I know I'd actually play it if that was the case.

Haven't really dived into Universe since 2K18 but these new changes are definitely gonna have me give it another shot. Depending on how effective some of these changes are to Universe, the AI, etc, 2K23 is looking a bit more like a solid update and not just a new coat of paint + roster update, didn't really expect that after the first bit of info we got when it seemed like all we were getting was War Games

Seems like creators are mostly happy which means this game should have some long term sustainability. Def gonna go ahead and preorder it when I get off work, seems like another solid release this year.

Solid variety in the DLC, a few omissions, Meiko and Gallus probably being IMO the most head scratching but since NXT UK wrestlers always struggled to find a place in these games, I'm sure there is more behind the scenes reasons for it, hopefully with many of these acts headed to US NXT this past year, we see these names finally make it in next year. Wish we would've gotten a playable B-Fab or at least an additional playable wrestler in that pack to make up for that, MIa or Candice could've been suitable additions IMO, but besides that, nothing much to hate about it in my eyes. Zeus in a game is wild, Harley Race seems like a HHH in charge decision too which I respect lol.

The mode breakdown stuff doesn't start until Tuesday, wonder if we will get anything Monday though, DLC reveal wasn't part of the Tues-Friday stuff, maybe they do something like that

Think it's safe to assume that the original comment from the devs about this roster being bigger than 2K22's was wrong, unless the DLC has really expanded to cover a wider gap between games or they are starting to get funky with their math by including the MyFaction exclusives as "roster"

They can but for getting people tweeting and talking about it, the way they did it is more effective

I can see why they'd do it this way TBH. Gets people speculating, talking, tweeting, etc. Gets WWE 2K out there even more and all that.

Divas Champions that aren't already on disc and aren't tied to another promotion currently: - Eve Torres - Michelle McCool - Kaitlyn - Layla - Melina - Kelly Kelly - Alicia Fox - Jillian Hall Michelle seems like the right guess, given she was the first Divas Champion plus she has shown up a handful of times here and there so her relationship with WWE is solid.

Every yearly release game gets incremental updates because developing a game is hard as is and doing so within a years time is crazy.

The gameplay has a lot of room for improvement, especially with the AI, but I feel like the ceiling for this foundation is a lot higher and could get to a stage that the gameplay from 2K19 was just never going to reach

I'm sure we will get a Kane pack one of these days, they gotta come up with easy to make bonus content every year and sticking to stuff within the usable current/legend pool seems to be the priority. Kane is obtainable on whatever the deals 2K pay out or under the restrictions WWE place on them for negotiations, so he clears the only hurdle that seems to pop up these days

Kane '98 needs the revival he deserves

It was also more than likely delayed at one point to the WM March date we are at now

I'll wait to see what Fightful or PWI or Mike Straw has to say about DLC, if they find any of that info out this time. Besides that, everyone else is a fraud in my book
