Pretty sure the Rick Rude theme in game is the one they use on the WWE Network so I doubt they were ever gonna do anything different there.

There will definitely be things kept for later, I'm assuming DLC, the full Showcase match list, the full roster will all be kept till later and closer to release I'd imagine. At least if history repeats itself. Sounds like we're looking at a good chunk of footage though for today

The only pessimistic viewpoint I'd have about the roster number they are using is how much of that comes from MyFaction unlocks. Otherwise, yeah, they've been feeling themselves on this point since the beginning which is great. Plus I've missed having Rick Rude

The people at the top in WWE are different. 2K24 is the first game where that's the case. We're just coming off of a Women's Royal Rumble that had quite the surprise appearance too. They've shown over the course of the year that how they approach things is different compared to the old ways. It's entirely possible that the approach to 2K24 is entirely different and much more robust when it comes to the inclusion of Legends. It's possible that the 2K series moving forward mirrors the Supercard legends for once, since there are def legends that are under deals that aren't in this 2K roster for whatever reason. Who knows. It's probably best to act like nothing will be different and be surprised than the opposite though. I'll believe it when I see it. They've put some attention back into the legends roster the last two years IMO so I expect some nice additions on disc and in DLC regardless. Hopefully HHH can insert some of his favorites in the game at the very least and we get more guys like Race and Sammartino on a long term/permanent basis.

It has nothing to do with "innocent until proven guilty" and all to do with "this might look bad PR wise". Its why they removed Brock from stuff last night and for EC.

Nobody knows that for certain

I do wonder what happens if they have to remove Brock. A delay would seem like the obvious call at that point since again, this could drastically affect the contents of the game and what is currently being advertised. They have to make new matches which probably takes time. Or would they remove them and nothing more, completely drop the amount of matches and deal with the backlash from that or would they? Both realistically could happen if a Brock removal was demanded. Since there seemed to be released wrestlers that were still included in WWE 2K20 or 2K21 (whatever year the WWE went on a release spree) because they were included in the Career mode, maybe it's another one of those scenarios where outright removing him is a disaster because of what he's included in. Releases and a guy accused of some pretty heinous things are entirely different situations too, WWE would probably be a lot more demanding in this scenario.

Brock def. would be harder to remove. Chances of him having multiple Showcase matches is pretty high. Vince a lot easier you'd think. Ultimately though, WWE makes the call. If they want them pulled, they are gonna pull them

It won't if I had to guess. The language specifically says the unlocker unlocks Showcase Mode content.

After Rick Steiner's controversy over the Trans comments he made, wouldn't be shocked if 2K24 doesn't have Rick and instead has Poppa Pump version of Scott. Will also be curious if they remove Vince at some point of 2K24's cycle given EVERYTHING that's transpired

WM 31+ additions for this showcase will be interesting thanks to departures within the company. Like the inaugural Women's title match is probably not possible thanks to Sasha Banks no longer in WWE. Fear it might be a whole lot of boring Roman or Brock additions
