WWF WrestleFest
it's a good game, just don't expect it to be deep. think of it as nba jam or nba street, not nba 2k or nba live. it's pretty easy to get your caw to 100, and once you do, you can just copy him so you don't have to build up each caw separately. and there's nothing to unlock other than a few second attires, which can be done by entering cheat codes, and movies (which are great) that can be unlocked by doing the legend killer mode and the relive, rewrite, redesign mode. there's no real career mode or anything like that, so once you unlock everything and get your caw's to 100, there's not much to keep you playing.. when you're by yourself. if you're playing with a group of guys, it's a lot of fun. when i'm by myself, i usually play smackdown, but when my friends come over, we usually play legends. doing a 30 man rumble with six players is probably the most fun i've had with a wrestling game since the n64 aki days. the game does have a lot of good things going for it. the caw mode is great i've made a bunch of legends from the rock 'n wrestling era, and monday night wars era wrestlers, and they all look great. plus, they have attires from a lot of legends in the game, so you can make them really accurately. and if you watched a lot of old wrestling, this game is worth it just for the nostalgia factor. you win a match with ted dibiase, he stuffs money down the opponent's mouth, or if you win a match with jake roberts, he'll put his snake on his opponent. if you don't have svr09, you can download a svr09 save from this site and have current wrestlers added to the game. plus, it's almost a year old now, so you can get it for pretty cheap. the game's not perfect by any means, it is obviously rushed in many areas, and the gameplay has it's flaws too. but for the nostalgia factor and the multiplayer gameplay, i recommend it. iamthedoctor
Why couldnt THQ just make it with the sd engine. Everyone would of loved it that way. The graphics are amazine but the action is cack. You cant even pick a weapon without interacting with it. It just plain sucks.
