Nike The Bike
First of all I'd like to thank everyone who has tried this CAW and provided me with feedback. LATEST VERSION: I tried a new method (atleast for me) of doing a CAW. I connected the cap card of my computer to my PS3 and downloaded a program called TransparentImageViewer. With this tool I can easily edit my caw, take a snap shot of it and have a reference image blended into the snapshot without me having to start photoshop or any tool like that. This way it was really easy to make sure that facially everything was in the right place (morph positions, designs and so on) corresponding to a reference image. For a more detailed guide, click here. For all you CAW makers out there, try this method! I noticed that the previously posted formula (the one currently uploaded on the main caws.ws page) has a bad mistake. The face must be based on template 6 to look correct, not template 1 as in the old formula. So for all of you who have already made this CAW I apologize. You have to restart from template 6. The newest formula is found below. Here is the reference picture I used for the face to get wrinkles in the right places, position eyes, mouth and everything else for the straight forward morph. Here you can see how the CAW face blends with the reference. Search words are: Hulk Hogan, Nike The Bike and Hollywood Hulk Hogan. I have not written down the formula. My work situation right now won't give me the time to do it. However I have the full morph and all layers dumped out to screen shots (note that these look a little off since my cap card thinks I have a 4/3 screen while the PS3 output is 16/9 and I didn't convert them). Is there anyone willing to try and help me convert this to text? Credit for type up will be given. Screen shot formula is available here. The formula is for the Hollywood Hulk Hogan version with the black beard and without the bandana in match. I released it this way since I thought it was atleast better than nothing. Now please guys, if you use this for your own stuff, give credit. fallofparadise
I think it looks awesome! Any chance of doing this for Ric Flairs face? Are you gonna post formulas for us 360 users?
Nike The Bike
If enough people want the formula, I will definitely try to fix one up for you. You'll always be free to edit and repost my work aswell if you like, aslong as you post credits for my work. Ric Flair was one of the guys I was thinking of trying to do. Another was Bret Hart. The nWo... However I'm unsure whether to start from scratch or edit someone elses face formula to save some work time, therefor I'm not sure I'll be able to release it, depends on the person who did the base (if I go down that route). First however, I need to finalize the attires for the Hogan CAW. Right now I have three Hollywood Hulk Hogan versions (the one on display, one without bandana in the match and one with the Hollywood beard and no bandana in match) and one Immortal Hulk Hogan version (80's, no bandana in match). Since I didn't use the standard moustache I did however use up a couple of layers that I had saved for the paint tool and the boots, so now I can't do the boots as good as I had originally liked. I have to figure out a work around. Finally I'd like to do a Hollywood Hogan (nWo) version aswell. Not sure which other attire to kick out though. In that case I just need a good front reference picture and one straight from the side (the way you see it in the CAW mode).
Paint tool my friend. The Paint tool is my friend. One design for each side from the knee pad up to the belt. In the future I could easily change the tight design to the more advanced usually worn tye dye instead of this WMXIX version that was easier to do because of less detail on it. wtferrell
For some reason, the rings underneath the yes look a greenish yellow color. It just throws it off in my opinion. Otherwise, that is an amazing Hogan. Great job. The only thing that is throwing me off is the yellow'ish greenish color of the circles under his eyes. Other than that, it is spot on. I love it. Excellent Hogan.

The colors of my projector that I am running the game on is totally off. Pink and purple looks exacly the same as red for example. I had to take screen shots and view them on my lap top to adjust the colors to where it is today. I will look into the matter. And for the tights, they were made in 3 layers. 1 tight layer and 2 designs. One design for each leg from the knee pad all the way up to the belt. Maybe I could save up another layer here by scrapping the tight layer and extending the designs all the way down to the boots. There is a risk that the designs will look awfully stretched though. In addition to this I also have two design layers for the belt running around the abdomen-lower back area to make it sit as high as Hogan has it. So in total 5 layers if you also count the belt to "the tights". And all designs are low resolution paint tool designs.
abandonhope
Can you explain the way you hook up this program man, do you have msn?
TheGreatOne
Very impressive. How were you able to run a program for a PC on a PS3, or/and have a PS3 image show up on the PC? I have a 360 so I'm confused as to how this would be setup for my console. Sounds cool tho, and your model is a testament to that fact.

Nike The Bike
I added a couple of new images, still without the color fix since it's a bit problematic for me to do color fixes right now with my screwed up projector. New images show version without bandana. I have decided to release the formula since a couple of people want it. Will type up either when attires are complete or I'll release a preliminary version. Haven't decided yet. If it will be a preliminary the colors might be strange because of the previously mentioned reason. I'm also considering doing a quick guide of how you can use the tool, but it's so easy I'm not sure a more detailed guide is needed. Search for the free program on google. Make a screen shot of your CAW face and open it. Open your reference image with the tool. Merge the faces (reference picture and your CAW) by setting transparency on the reference image. Drag the reference image to match the scale of your CAW image. Then try to move things around in CAW mode to match the reference and take a new screen shot. Repeat this until your CAW image matches the reference image.

wtferrell
One more suggestion, is that I would make the actual eye width a little bit more wide. Not the spacing, but the actual eye width. Just a thought that I think would make it look a little better. I can't wait to use this man. Excellent work.
