D.A.N. Posted January 22, 2007 Report Share Posted January 22, 2007 Well Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be out on PS3 in due time. You won't find any RPGs like Oblivion and Fable on PS2, but you could probably get them on your PC if it has the right requirements. Great RPGs that aren't the style of Elder Scrolls and Fable would include: - Final Fantasy (X, X-2, and XII) - Radiata Stories - Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2 (As close you can get to the games you mentioned) - Xenosaga (All three) - Star Ocean If you just want a great RPG, some of those (and more) are available. If you specifically want the closest thing to Fable or Morrowind, it's hard to find. But Dark Cloud would literally be as close as you can get, and it's truly not even close. You'd probably be better off buying a 360 if you really, REALLY wanted to play those games since Fable 2 will be coming sometime this year. You will not find the types of games on the Playstation system as the ones you mentioned as the Sony consoles have console RPGs while the Microsoft systems have more PC style RPGs.
