And as for your dilemma, I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific to have the answer you want, but I'll take a crack at this anyway. If you have the picture of something you want as your avatar that's saved on your computer, go to [url="http://imageshack.us"]Imageshack[/url] (click on Imageshack) and click on browse to search through your folders. After you're done, click on Update Avatar. Make sure you get the URL to the avatar though, so you can paste or put the URL. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And use the bottom to put it on signature or in a post, not the hotlinking one or such. The bottom URL form. You don't have to know it well. If you want to upload a file, click on Browse and search for the picture file you want to upload. Then hit Upload and find the apppropriate form you want.
