Body Morphing

I really hope this game has body morphing, it will be a must-buy for me if it's included, and by body morphing, I mean 2K14 style with the sliders, not the boring part select they had in 2K20.

I love how the older games let you make exact body types for wrestlers, and you could make funny characters, nowadays you just do whatever preset body type is closest, which sucks.

Was it cancelled or something? or are you just saying that because they've been developing it for a long time, unless I missed some big news, I think it will come out in a few years, definitely not soon though.

Game was first getting shopped around before the PS5 even released; we're now moving in to the end of this gens life cycle; and the most they've shown is some really stiff movement in the ring, a promo from Crowbar, and constant roster announcements (some of which are no longer valid more than likely). If this game comes out, and I highly doubt it will by now, there's no way it can measure up to what it wanted to be.

I'm absolutely certain its yet another victim of a studio thinking a wrestling game will be fairly easy to make and then realizing once they start to work on it that it has a lot more to it than they thought. So many game devs who announce these indie wrestling game projects run into this issue; or they just want to copy No mercy wholesale and do so poorly.

Ah, yeah it's been a while since the pre-PS5 era so I definitely see your point there, and yeah, I also think many roster members won't make it in the final game, like the Steiner Brothers, Ken Shamrock, DDP, etc. because they're now appearing in the WWE series, I highly doubt Sefa Fatu (Solo Sikoa) will be in the game.

Do you know if it was a small company or just a indy group of people that wanted to create something good?

If it's the later then I can see it getting scrapped and I'm talking from experience since I worked in a couple of RPGs that never saw the light of day because people that are willing to work on a project and make money out of it, end up giving up at the end because there is no money involved during the process or because they think to create a game you only need 24 Hours and that's it.

So at the end we had people coming and go for around 5 long years until I gave up aswell.

Some even only joined so they can create a model out of images we had to put on their portfolios and do so as if they really contributed when all they did was create a model or two, put them as their work on their websites and then leave because of "no time".

I still have a few game designs I created for various types of games and even graphics, images (hand drawn and digital) or even wallpapers, levels for the torque engine among many other things.

People don't even have the endurance to create a whole game with the RPGmakers so it's even much harder with a proper engine and proper graphics for sure.

So it's VERY hard to find people that are really commited to a project, unless if you have the money to pay them a montly salary and even then you might end up being screwed because they don't do enough for their money and let you down after a couple of months because all they needed was a income until they got a new job.

The wrestling code is currently signing up beta testers, doubt it’s scrapped
