flame3169118 Posted June 26 Report Share Posted June 26 I want to preface this by saying this is a rumor, but if true then I'm glad that tool Travis Scott flaked on them: There are leaks coming out saying Travis was the mystery celeb in pack 1, but he's getting replaced by Aleister Black, and the new WM pack character will be Rey Fenix (Presumably they'll drop the WM pack characters alongside the next dlc so you can have the Lucha Bros together) Link to comment

It could be them simply laying groundwork while working on 2K26. I would certainly like for that to be the case however. Link to comment

I believe the reveal of Travis Scott for DLC Pack 1 was to coincide with the announcement that he'd be teaming with Sourpuss Cena against Cody & Jey at MITB, but then he flaked on his training with Booker & they replaced him with Logan. WWE wanted to make the grand reveal of the person themselves, but when the tool left them in a lurch it left WWE with egg on their face and 2K in a jam that was beyond their control. Link to comment

Maybe he might appear at summer slam idk i did hear the rumour about him flaking on training so that might be a factor too Link to comment

Can’t do so much as discuss plans for the future that haven’t even happened or been worked on yet without being in trouble. Good on him for surviving in that environment as long as he has, though. Get that money. I just know better than to expect a full truth out of anyone from there at this point. Meanwhile, one or several leakers are straight up telling us what we paid for ahead of time, for better or worse. It’s almost like 2K knows its audience will shit all over these surprise athletes and pseudo celebrities and so they keep them a “secret” til the last possible second. I’m glad they were beat to the punch and hope it happens again next year and the year after, because I would like to know what I preordered the most expensive console edition for in full detail, and that’s if I get another one, which is always in the air nowadays. Absolutely. This shhhh it’s a secret xD approach that they’re going for is turning a lot of players off. Thank God for leakers tbh. Like if they were surprises that the player base actually cared about or at the very least…wanted, that would be one thing but if you’re expecting them to keep buying unannounced DLCs with celebrities that they’re explicitly stating that they don’t want, how do you expect for players to NOT complain? Like a lot of us didn’t want Travis (or any celeb for that matter), but if you’re including him in things we have to pay money for people are gonna want him regardless lol. DrXtreme Posted June 27 Report Share Posted June 27 i am impressed with how perfect the NBA stars look in this game I know Shaq very well from his playing days and using him in various NBA games in the past like NBA Jam of course i teamed him up with OMOS like i did when Zeus was a character had him team with OMOS too. I haven't watch NBA as of late so not familiar with Tyrese or Brunson expect for watching the playoffs. Sadly Knicks fell short again like they did in the mid 90s. Same goes for the Pacers. But i felt perhaps this pack would of been a great way to bring in Demolition to go along with the Destruction concept. Perhaps just keep it with Abyss, Shaq, Demolition and Meiko *seeing as her Scorpion Kick is in the game as a move*. But then again i am still waiting for 2k to finally have Corey Graves be used as a playable, seriously i think ppl forget just how great of a competitor he was before his career ending injury.
