I mean they literally had a then-high profile womens match at Wrestlemania 1 between Wendi Richter and Fabulous Moolah that would’ve been interesting if they could get Cyndi Lauper and Captain Lou.  Not sure it would’ve generated any kind of big bucks with today’s consumer base though.

Moolah was kind of canceled years ago, though. Remember when they were going to name that battle royal at WrestleMania in her honor the other year? Big uproar on social media, and Snickers pressured WWE into changing it. I doubt we'll ever see Moolah in the series.

I think the idea of Lauper as a playable character would have really raised a lot of eyebrows. Captain Lou (RIP) would be nice to see a video game, though IDK if his estate would license him for it.

Moolah though? Nope. Let's just say even before the current controversy, Moolah wouldn't be considered for the game or anything involving WWE in passing. She wasn't a morally outstanding person, if you catch my drift.

And since we're on the topic of legendary women from years ago, I'll just say it right here, right now: Jumping Bomb Angels in a video game would be amazing. Dunno if they would be approachable for a likeness deal but they were legendary in Japan and in the WWF.

Is Brock vs Kurt in the showcase? If he won't be in a wwe game for a long time starting with 2K25, then I'd like to have Ruthless Aggression Brock one last time!

Yeah, I remember, and I’ve heard personal stories and watched the documentaries. She wasn’t the greatest. Maybe Wendi Richter is one of those people I was mentioning earlier, who could make the game despite not being a part of the Showcase. She’s another one that has been in Champions for years now. Like I think Saturn said, the more old school people the better, assuming they come with old school basic fundamental moves..

yeah fundamental moves are definitely lost in these games. I thought Bruno and Harley would come with a lot of them.

Seems like HHH vs Kane from WM15 and Angle vs HBK from WM21 are common picks for the unannounced matches, in addition to the Brock vs Taker match from WM30. Is there anything else that seems likely? As good as the arenas look this year, I'd love to see WM9. Not a great Mania by any stretch, but a great arena.

At this point I think I'm more curious about who we're losing more than anything from the roster. There are obvious removals but I'll be curious about the Legends that get cut this year from expiring deals and what not. Feel like the NXT roster is also a big question mark as usual too. Everything else looks pretty damn good so far. Even the marketing is leagues better than it's been in the past.

Legends wise I’d really like to get a few of those we lost from 2K18 back - Earthquake and Typhoon being the main two, but the bushwhackers, Blayze and Sid could also be handy. Would like to see Ivory and Jackie back in too. 
 

Never seems a sure thing in most cases but it would also be handy if we could get some of those who work backstage available to us, Road Dogg, Albert worked at the PC last I knew and I imagine Regal must be in play again now. 
 

I know for legend additions people like all those top stars, and it’s great of course, but the people like those above I find really help to flesh out Universe mode for mid card and tag bouts.
