I fear that there will be even much worse bugs and glitches than usual. Don't know know about 2K20 level but could be possible. All the changes/new content, last gen still being in the mix and possible Brock/Vince removals could have consequences.

 

The game is also releasing a couple of weeks sooner than I was expecting

I wouldn't equate a short announce/hype window with a glitch ridden launch. We've been here with these games, they always have a bug or two at launch that gets smoothed out, so I don't expect a fundamentally broken game like 2K20, which was a culmination of Yukes leaving, code that had been in the game since 2000, and an overwhelmed staff that had no shot of getting it done in time to meet an annual release date.

This game is, IIRC, built off the foundation of 2K22 (VC would always use the game from a prior year as a base and alternate between them to keep up with annualization launches) so there's not much that they could do to totally botch it up.

God that standing front stomp animation really needs to be reanimated doesn’t it. 
 

Needs to be a corner move with the opponent down, but like Roman’s spear with its own wake up taunt, Seth in the corner, opponent gets up to their hands and needs, Seth runs out a couple of steps and hits it. 
 

Was really hopeful of getting a new one considering he never hits it as in game. I like the super stomp but don’t want to end every match with it to preserve it a bit.

Yeah doesn't look like we're ever getting a new Stomp animation, all they will give us is these over the top diving stomps where the opponent drills his head into the mat like he got hit by a DDT.....

All i want is either a corner Stomp where he taunts, then runs and hits it with a pin combo like he often does, or a regular side version with a pin combo.

And yeah i absolutely HATE that standing Stomp, that kick to the gut and the clunky run and leap, hate it, for some reason they think thats fine. HJoenstly it really makes me not interested in even playing Seth every game due to his outdated bad Stomp's.

I still enjoy playing as Seth in every game and alot but yeah sure would be nice for a lot of his his stuff reanimated and with quality effort!

Seth gets weirdly bad luck when it comes to moves. Some moves desperately need to be reanimated, but historically he also has terrible luck with getting new moves in general. Remember how absolutely over the top silly his specific pedigree animation was (he flails his arms like a kid playing airplane), or how the first Gods Last Gift looked like just a lazy fireman suplex? Or how about the manual turnbuckle powerbomb they removed for no real reason in 2K22. Phoenix Splash isn't unique to him but could also use a new animation some time soon.

What are we talking about when you say “show intros”….the opening music with the fireworks? Or something more? I’m not seeing the big loss here..

 

Still a big miss by 2K by having all this hype around finishing the story and not bringing back Story Designer so we could do so..

Yeah it's basically the intro to each show with Pyro and opening music at the start. A small detail but it does add more presentation to the mode.

It would be interesting to have a show intro to match card to segments to show close go on as one continuous experience with no obvious loading screen. As close to a simulation of a live WWE show as one could possibly get.

Universe mode gonna suck again

Its like they go out of their way to make Universe mode not feel like an actual show, took promos away, no show intros, just a gauntlet of matches and nothing else to it. 

Also its really annoying only being able to do cutscenes for rivalry matches and can't pick what happens in regular non rivalry matches.

Eh honestly promos sucked, yeah they added to universe but the dialog was bad,  nobody actually said or acted like how they would doing promos.
