judas priest superstar
Once again, to reiterate, Punk would be DLC. Meaning they can work and develop on the DLC after launch. Brock Lesnar however, the content involving Brock, namely Showcase mode matches, his character, his moves, and other parts of the game is a lot harder to get out of a game that is 4 weeks out from launch, and already submitted to the ESRB, given a rating, and most likely pressed to disc and in replication mode. That stuff is in the game and most likely isn't coming out of the game, barring a last-minute delay. 2K isn't going to delay the game 4 weeks out from release to rush a removal. If this was months ago then more feasible, because they have months and months to get it out, fix the game, and keep it going. I can't see them doing something that extreme, when the more viable option, which is to exclude Lesnar from direct promotional rollout materials (social media, nextmaker content, website content) and not directly mention it is there. Golden Boy®
Contrary to popular belief, featuring in a video game (especially if not advertised) doesnt cause a PR disaster like participating in the company's 2nd biggest event. CM Punk featuring is different case, it's not about the time but the money, they will be idiots not to cash in on his return especially, while despite the injury, is still hot, who knows what his situation will be come next year. The 2 situations are incomparable, this isn't about the timeframe as much as the decision from a financial perspective, the dev will always think "is that thing worth spending resources on?", removing Brock may cause some talks but not enough to waste resources to remove him, adding CM Punk however is worth wasting resources because the income is much bigger. Unless Brock is convicted by tomorrow (LOL) the game will remain untouched. Link to comment
black_machismo
WWE Supercard still has Brock in the game, he is just not pullable in the draft board. All his cards are still there. He is just not pullable like all released superstars. And it is easy to update that game since it is not as complex as WWE 2K games. For 2K24 Brock may be too late to be pulled out of the game. It will be hard to delay the game and just remove him. Link to comment
StillDriven
I say this.....respectfully. We are paying $120 for 40 Years of Wrestlemania, they couldn't just give us a fresh new cover of the game? Instead of just covering up Brock's face? It looks ridiculous. LUCKILY when you purchase the 40 Year addition on PS5, the Cody Rhodes cover is the actual cover they use in the Playstation Library once you have the game. I won't have to actually look at it but still... Edited February 2 by StillDriven Link to comment
Senex Beast
The cover is still awesome and it better be show on my xbox when pinned! It's more than just covering his face anyway Link to comment

I'm paying a $120 for a deluxe edition game that shouldn't look tacky by simply moving a text font over to the left. It was a half assed way of fixing something that should have been easy. RyanCE
2K24 has satisfied several of my biggest gameplay requests (more special slots, super finishers, strap removal taunts, etc.), but I'd still love to see... Instead of only having one standing submission move we should be able to choose three separate standing front, standing rear, and Irish whip rebound submissions -- possibly even two per position with neutral and directional stick inputs Selectable stomps/weak ground strikes in CAM (we should be able to choose between a few generic stomps, Rock's stomp, Stacy's stomp, cocky kicks, etc.) The addition of optional running leverage pins (sunset flip, crucifix pin, etc.) The addition of optional grounded speciality pins in CAM like Jericho's cocky pin, Fujinami's pin, a jackknife pin near the feet, etc. Selectable fighting stances in CAM Remove contextual strike animation mirroring (this is incredibly unrealistic; southpaws are southpaws for a reason) and bring back the option to manually flip strike animations in CAM Let us choose every strike in our combos instead of having to select from predefined strings Let us manually assign reversal animations in CAM I also greatly prefer the "tap for weak, hold for strong" gameplay of the older 2K games, AEW, No Mercy, etc., but I doubt 2K is going back to that anytime soon. J-man89
The Ramp camera view is so freaking good, just so much more pleasing visually seeing the stage and entire view of the ring. Edited February 3 by J-man89 Link to comment
CROSS-Out
So has anyone else noticed that the UI for the striking mini-game is literally just the old pin system repurposed? Not that im complaining. I really, really hope we get the old submission system as an alternative this year, or at least something we can use other than the current system. Link to comment

The crowd sounds pretty bad throughout, everyone appears to still have that one *censored*ing DDT, Sami Zayns theme sounds... weird, and as per usual, commentary is awful. Also, the new camera angle baaaadly needs proper rumble entrances as opposed to everyone just running in. Link to comment
