I don't think it's the worse DLC pack we've gotten, that spot to me is the 2K originals but this is the most underwhelming and disappointing. Although wasn’t there one year we had to pay for The Rock and Stone Cold as DLC.

Wow you are completely correct lol. I forgot how stupid I felt getting 2k20 deluxe for that fantasy bullshit they gave us.

quite frankly it has been worse. 2K20 having the originals and no new wrestlers at all in that year was the absolute nadir. a bad game, with no hope whatsoever for new content, just made everything even worse.

Speaking of originals.... the crazy, fictional, originals and especially super natural stuff in every MyRise and especially this girl path is so out of place and *censored*ing stupid even for wrestling! A lot of stuff is great and other stuff in the stories are just too much and don't get 2K's obsession with this bullshit. Don't know why they went after the WWE IP license when it seems they're more interesting in making something inspired by Saturday Night Slam Masters, which I would gladly accept but not mixed in within a wwe game in this franchise!

In the middle of these super natural stories with Alexa and Finn. I don't know if it's worth finishing all the way through now. So off putting!

Please god let that be loaded with new moves. Otherwise whats the point?

Apparently their moves have “crazy names”, so there’s a possibility this could introduce some cool new moves to the game.

it’s the springboard hurricanrana in the corner. it won’t work as a finisher unfortunately. you just gotta turn the opponent around to face the other way and then just hit the move

Not years. It was in 2k23 at launch but removed it with an update mid way through. I don't see the limit number or timer anymore

no years they did the same in 2019 and 2020 what makes me think it was a glitch

Pardon my ignorance  but is there really no way to have belts go under the jacket for Al attires?

I think for certain jackets and robes it works, but I'm pretty sure for most of them it just goes over them.

2K20 still frustrates me so much because if they'd bothered to actually fix the *censored*ing game it would've been really good. I could see the good game underneath, but it was so broken and so... uncared for.

I don't mind Pat McAfee being DLC, but the rest of his cast? Nah.

One idea a friend of mine had for a DLC pack was Psycho Sid, Victoria, Lexis King, Tatum Paxley and AOP. It would fit in with the format of the others. Two legends, two NXT stars, a tag team and it has a theme to it. All of them are known for their unhinged characters. That sounds like a better third pack than what we're getting.

Yeah Pat makes sense, he's wrestled a few times and been with the company a while now, i mean some could say he should've been in the base game by now but him being DLC aint a terrible thing.

But yeah the rest of his buddies from his podcast that no one knows being in the pack? hell no, theres no justification for that when we got alot of people you could've put in that, Sol Ruca, Lexis King, Von Wagner, AOP, Elektra Lopez, i mean theres alot i could name thats been in the company a long time at this point that could've been included in that pack.

People are making this McAfee DLC way bigger than it is. They wanted him in the game because he's a big star, and his condition was that his boys had to be in too. It's not any deeper than that. If his boys weren't in, none of our favs would suddenly spawn out of nowhere. At most, the work that goes into their models could have gone into other alts or something. Considering they held Dragon Lee and Carlito back for DLC, it seems pretty clear they were hurting bad for viable DLC characters. None of the people in NXT that didn't make the cut are selling a DLC pack. I'm not excited for the pack by any means, but being up in arms about it seems a bit dramatic to me.

Um yeah alot of the NXT people who were left out would sell a pack, besides their new moves they'd bring, alot of fans want updated rosters for their Universe to fill out the cards, and while the NXT wrestlers aint huge stars they would sell more than some podcaster buddies of Pat's no ones ever heard of.

Sol Ruca for her finisher alone would sell a pack.

My point is there aren't 5 people in NXT not in the game who - combined - are as big of a draw as McAfee is. Just him plugging it on his podcast is probably more valuable than 5 people you could name from NXT. It's true developmental again. If it was black and gold 3rd brand NXT, I could see an argument here. Nakamura was a draw. Lexis King just isn't.

Again, I'm not excited for it by any means. I'm just saying it makes sense.

As i said Sol Ruca's finisher alone would sell to alot of fans, a ton of fans just want more moves and alot want as up to date rosters as possible, they don't care if the NXT wrestlers are stars or their favorites. A pack of NXT wrestlers would sell way more than Pat and his buddies will, i guarantee that. Its not like Pat is The Rock or anything, he's not that big of a star, he has a podcast thats it.

And the fact that he had conditions that his buddies had to be in it with him is total bullshit, we could've had Pat plus a few from NXT that didn't make the game, but he had them excluded so his friends could be in it with him that no one will ever use. Thats what rubs me the wrong way, he forced 2K to make the entire pack worthless so his buddies could get a pay day.

Lots of text lots of text, yada yada yada.

The thing is, they worked on him for last years DLC already, he shouldn't even be a DLC in the first place this year. If they want to put him with his trash group into the game, then put them into the f'n main game and nobody would be bothered.

The DLC part is the thing that that's just a slap in the face.

Are you serious? Even if you ignore him being a mainstream celebrity, the guy's had multiple big Mania moments. WWE licensed Seven Nation Army for him. They gave him an entrance with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. He's been a bigger part of WrestleMania than 90% of the people in the game's roster and 100% of the people in NXT. WWE and 2K obviously see a lot of name value in him. Otherwise, he wouldn't have any leverage over 2K at all.

The idea of him "having people excluded" is complete fan fiction, and the main thing I'm disagreeing with here. Again, they were obviously hurting for DLC that was worth the investment. No matter who you remove, Sol Ruca doesn't become any more of a draw. I have no use for McAfee's guys, Muhammad Ali, or Post Malone, but it's pretty clear they're in this game due to a lack of options. Very few new big name signings, and everyone in developmental is still VERY developmental. So they went big on celebrities. I'd have preferred more alumni too, but if we're being honest most people who play these games couldn't pick Paul Orndorff out of a lineup.

I've been saying this for years, but this was the obvious outcome when people clamored for DLC that consisted of nothing but additional wrestlers. When there are no big name signings and you've already included everyone of note, those wrestlers have to come from somewhere. Dragon Lee has been on the main roster forever, but he's DLC because he's an addition people will extra pay for. What five wrestlers would you cut from the base game to include McAfee and friends (who got scanned the day before yesterday, by the way)? Do you think people are going to pay extra for Gallus, Duke Hudson, and Thea Hail?

im skipping that dlc pack. its completely useless to me. Sol Ruca, Lexis King, Von Wagner, Elektra Lopez should have been dlc. i mean they could have even added Brian Pillman along side his kid.
