I’ll never forget the impact he had on me in FCW and how excited I was when I learned he was debuting on the main roster. Dude deserved ALL the money for cultivating such a character. I was always pulling for him to succeed. I’m gutted to hear this news. No more Bray Wyatt. No more Windham Rotunda in the world: the creative genius, the father, the brother , the son, etc. Heavy, heavy loss today. As Adam Pearce makes a point of saying “Love somebody today.” You never know…you might not get another chance. I loved the Bray Wyatt character. Prayers to Mike, Jojo, Bo and family.

I LITERALLY just finished having a random match against Bray Wyatt in the WWE 2K23 game where he defeated my CAW and became the new Undisputed WWE Champion. Like, it's crazy how this ended minutes after the news broke that he passed away. My heart goes out to every single person who loved him and was effected by his loss.

I'm heartbroken. I don't know what to say or think, I just know that one of my favourites is gone and the world is a little bit darker, a little less colourful, a little less creative.

Awful news to wake up to today. Never in a millions years would have I expected to wake up with this news. The most creative and fun wrestling character in the modern era. I'll truly miss him, and I thank Triple H for bringing him back last year. The white rabbit campaign and the whole return at Extreme Rules will forever remain in my memory. I really hope for a Hall of Fame induction next year. RIP Windham, you made the lives of thousands so much better and I hope you left knowing that.

In regards to Rotunda’s death, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted the following…

“I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues. There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away. I encourage those reading to respect the family’s privacy if at all possible, but his loved ones wanted some details clarified.”

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote that “in speaking to WWE sources, we are told that they are in the process of setting up their website to reflect that going forward, the money raised from Bray merchandise will go directly to his family.”
