2 things I want in wwe2k24 are:

No more 1000 logo limit

More than 100 caw slots

I just want the simulation aspects back. The old grapple system, tie ups, stamina that actually matters and has an effect (if turned on, make it optional). Take the best of 2k23 and combine it with the best of 2k19.

Would love to have a mode called "create a crowd" in a wwe game. You decide how many are in the audience, how they behave and what they are wearing. Throw in custom shirts and signs (Only available off line and not on CC) and we're talking..

am i the only one who just loves the whole Simulation concept between CPU's. It's like being your own personal booker and just go at it like that. Which is why i wish they'd bring back Create a PPV. Always loved that concept and have others rate what you put up. Too be honest i just go right to unlocking everyone and everything, then see who to face each other. And pairing up randoms together too is fun. Universe Mode is good for that whole Simulation idea.

I became cool with an awesome YouTuber who focuses on WWE 2K games and AEW! He has connections with having live chats with Developer Bryan Williams for WWE 2K24. Once we get an official date on when I can go live to chat with him on Youtube and the fans, I will definitely ask some important questions to share with you guys. Let's hope WWE 2K24 is on FIRE.

Yeah, he really can’t get into the weeds of anything going on with the next game until they really start promoting it. On the other hand, he could have you sign an NDA, after which you’ll have full knowledge of the game but wouldn’t be able to talk to any of us, which isn’t a big deal maybe seeing as these forums are so dead.

Well I'm actually following the Youtuber who will be interviewing him. He said he will inform me when the interview happens next year so I basically wanna be there to see what scoop I can get on anything.

I hope 2k24 goes towards being able to have stimulation of what’s seen on tv again since seems like the developers stripped a majority of that away since they didn’t understand wrestling.

If the wwe series can do what the nba series did with their animations to look more life like then then that could open up many possibilities for the future.

I hope they don’t find it disrespectful or annoying for people to just want custom everything. It is a WWE game after all and they put a great deal of effort into making it as picture perfect close to the WWE product that year as possible. People, not us, don’t appreciate what they have and are always looking at/for alternatives, and then when they get the alternatives, they ask about things like “creation Suite” which is a blatant WWE2K term.

As we are probably seeing the last 2 games that are gonna be on PS4 and XB1, and the fact that WWE 2K dominated that whole time, I just think it’s time we appreciate what we have. Like I know WolfgangJT is helping VB with The Wrestling Code but he made a comment calling it the top product in its genre or whatever and its like c’mon dude, WWE games are the whole reason people know who you are. That goes to a lot of you who left the forums and act all too cool for school on Twitter and Discord and what not. I’m watching. They’re watching. Don’t bite the hand that feeds. We’re all in this together and we just want the game to be the best they can be, in the end.

Now that they have their foundation for this game kinda set, it'll be interesting to see what they do with this series in year 3 since the series reset. They should have more familiarity with this stuff moving forward, that could lead to more additions, changes, fixes, etc. This series has been on an uptick for the majority of players/reviewers and WWE is currently in a huge uptick of popularity as well, you gotta think that can only help with this series moving forward from the development side of things as well. Not expecting perfection, especially since most yearly titles see many issues, far bigger and more successful titles than WWE 2K no less, but I would imagine those types of positive things can only be positives for this game in some way.

Weak Strikes = Square (These can still start combos)
Heavy Strikes = Hold Square

Light Grapple = Tap X (No Grab State)
Heavy Grapple = Hold X (No Grab State)

Irish Whip = Circle
Strong Irish Whip = Hold Circle

Strike Reversal = Triangle
Grapple Reversal = Triangle + R2
Combo Breaker = Either Square, X, or Circle (For Combos only and not Grapples)

If they make those changes plus all the other great stuff we got in 2K22/2K23 likes Stuns and Tendencies then already it would look better and Wrestlers won't be CONSTANTLY doing tie ups or grabbing on to everyone's shoulders anymore. 2K23 fans would be happy, 2K19 fans would be happy (and I'd retire 2K19). Alternatively I wouldn't mind the reversals being split into Light Reversals (Triangle) and Heavy Reversals (Triangle + R2) if they wanted to make it even harder (though I think Strikes and Grapples would be fine, adds variety to reversing to cut down reversal fests without being TOO guess-y). Paybacks can be changed to pretty much anything else and it's an action you'll only do once or twice a match, maybe press both Thumbsticks in.

Beyond that, Chain Wrestling, Squash Matches, and new Stances would be great.

I still really want them to bring back the wheel submission system, at least as an option (if we can have multiple pin systems i don't see why this is a problem); especially since a lot of the older submission move animations REALLY do not work well with the current system. For example, take a look at Drew Gulaks dragon sleepers, the transition in animation as you move towards the tap out side is ridiculously jarring.

This! I loved the Wheel game. I was glad to see you can adjust the Mashing game in 2K23 but the Wheel is still my preferred option if they ever bring it back.

Didn't quite a few people not like the wheel submission tho? Or am I misremembering it.

There was some that didn't like it. I think since there's Two Pin minigames, it would be cool to see 2 Submission minigames as well and the Wheel could be the Alterative.

It's all about options
