They can get a team to get her scanned, mocap her moves, entrance, and get PBP done if they make it a priority. DrXtreme Posted September 18 Report Share Posted September 18 often times whenever a new 2k gets mentioned i hesitate to buy it mainly because I just don't know if i wanna Re-create the same CAWS again and again, i get it there's no way to switch them over but at times just gets overly redundant. especially when entrances change or music changes from the previous game so you gotta see what works best for your OG creations. i do hope they bring back Create a Finisher and Special Guest Ref. I always liked the Guest Ref one mainly so i can basically begin in all the weapons into the ring and undo the buckles. Maybe for next years game they will have Corey Graves as a player seeing as he was one helluva competitor before his career ending injury *despite being cleared to wrestle now* but still Corey was legit. Plus wouldn't mind seeing an all LEGENDS 2k. Pending on those who didn't try to create a lawsuit towards the company. Would love to see Demolition in the game, maybe even Bob Backlund at some point, get some of the Super Heavyweights in there like Bundy, Studd, Ernie Ladd, Bashon Booger. The likeness of each player in this years game are spot on. Nice to see Jake Roberts look like himself instead of Ron Jeremy with an allergic reaction to peanuts. A N T I - Posted September 20 Report Share Posted September 20 I’m gonna be using WWE 2K24 as a sort of barometer to see how much, if at all, they’re still watching we say on this site, in terms of what content they end up giving us. I love this site to death and all but, aside from our friend making the occasional appearance, there isn’t much reason to be here. And even then, his “I am who I say I am but show discretion please” shtick is old in the year of our lord 2023-24. He used to get really in the weeds with us and Smacktalks ruined that, if I recall. It is what it is. Anything for a couple of views, right? But yeah, I’m planning to stick with you guys for 24 and 25 but everyone is just on Twitter and Discord and stuff these days. I was unsure of Jade making the next game because I wasn’t sure how soon she’d be reporting to the Performance Center. Now that we know, I’d say she’s a shoe-in to be a DLC pack seller. Jade will be in the game, but it's a question of on-disc or DLC. I feel like it will be DLC because they would need a big name to anchor Season Pass sales/Deluxe Edition pre-orders. A N T I - Posted September 20 Report Share Posted September 20 Well, the Hardys returned the Wrestlemania before WWE 2K18 came out and our friend said there was no way they ever would’ve been ready to be on the base roster despite Mania being in April and 2K games coming out in mid-October at the time. Instead, we had to wait until the January DLC pack to get the Hardys. I think there’s already such a demand for Jade to be in 2K24 and there’s so much DLC nowadays that it wouldn’t actually surprise me for her to be in one of the last 2 DLC Packs, since that gives the team from now until next July-August to produce a Jade model with all the works.. Everything that goes into every single model that people tend to overlook when they make their demands. I’m interested obviously in what the themes of each DLC pack will be next year. It would be another story if she were just another run of the mill signing, but I and others really think she can help sell any pack she’s a part of. Moves-wise, not sure what all they’d have to mocap besides muscle flexing taunts and what not. Jaded with proper pin animation is pretty much in there, along with her bicycle kick and stuff. A N T I - Posted September 20 Report Share Posted September 20 They seem to have settled into the MyRise half-storyline, half-text message structure, which I find gets boring quick. I don’t see that changing, nor do I have any suggestions at the present moment for what they could do in the future, because I know MyRise is a big undertaking and getting into any kind of groove with it is a good thing for the team. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good thing if they squeaked her in, if anything I think the roster badly needs big new additions. I'm just saying history tells me not to expect it. We're talking about a game releasing (presumably) in 7 months including someone who not only hasn't debuted yet, but might not even be signed yet. I was just looking to the end of the year as when they should be wrapping up on everything and bug testing and such til release. Now that you’ve mentioned that we have presumably 7 months before launch I would say there’s even more reason to try and include the likes of a Jade or a Kairi. Then there’s another commercial with another hooded person running up the steps and when he pulls his hoodie off it’s CM Punk and he sits cross-legged. “Do I have your attention now?”….shit like that and watching the reaction videos would be beautiful man. Then before the Punk commercial cuts off, *static* old ECW-style commercial previewing the 5 ECW models with bits of real footage thrown in? I’m talking record profits.
