Big Swole finally opened up about her time in AEW and what led to her leaving:

-Was happy and surprised to hear her name chanted during the first womens Casino Battle Royale

-After the match, a legend backstage compared her to Jazz

-Cited her match against Hikaru Shida as to what led to her getting signed. Kenny Omega was the one who hired her and she was happy Adam Page was around as he, along with Cedric, were there for her since the start of her career

-Says she was known for being very vocal backstage

-Mentions how Tony Khan would buy out restaurants for the wrestlers

-Says AEW is relaxed in pitching ideas and who you wanted to work with

-Enjoyed her feud with Britt Baker up until the Tooth & Nail match

-Lance Archer would jokingly chase her around in a golf cart

-Joked often with Brodie on how despite it being called Dark Order, everyone was white. Brodie would jokingly ask her to join the group every week

-Tooth & Nail Match was never laid out and that she and Omega sat down to plan out spots

-Couldn't do as much as Baker still wasn't cleared

-Says that they were originally supposed to have a Blood & Guts Match and Britt was all for getting color

-Mentions how fans on social media turned on her and sent her racist yells from fans and death threats for wearing a BLM armband. Cites this as the reason she has a love hate relationship with Dailys Place because it was the same fans who cheered her before

-Says the Womens Division kept going in different directions with Kenny Omega who had to drop it to handle his own stuff and then Awesome Kong who had to drop it to go back to filming

-TK and Matt Hardy approached her to run the division

-Couldn't believe they kept the Womens Division going because no one knew what they were doing

-Cites Abadon as someone who tried to help her bring chemistry to the Division as Abadon worked her ass off

-Tried twice for a 5 on 5 storyline that fell through twice. Was supposed to be Nyla, Jade Cargill, Diamante, Ivelisse & ??? Vs Swole, Serena and three others

-Mentions that plans falling through was the norm for the Womens Division which aggravated the women

-Came up with her feud with Diamante because she was tired of the women not having anything

-Was hoping her feud with get put on Rampage before it debut

-Wanted Nyla Rose and Juilie Hart in the feud

-After filming it, other women thought it should be on the main show

-Reveals that talent is told to pull back on Dark

-Wasnt happy being on Dark because some of the women weren't up to par with her

-Most emotional moment was Kenny thanking her for what she was doing for the division before her Diamante match

-She told TK that she didn't want to re-sign because things were disrupting her peace

-Felt good to end her AEW run with compliments but that her heart stopped being with the company

-Says the inside structure is "off and loose"

-Says you need to be creative to get time on tv

-Her biggest issue was diversity

-Mentioned that there's no one at the top that "looks like her"

-Her daughter didn't enjoy AEW because there was no one that looked like Swole and Cedric and that her daughter started tk preferred WWE because they had someone like Bianca Belair and people of color on tv more

-Says there's not enough representation and that when it comes, it doesn't come off as genuine and doesn't get why people don't want to accept that

-Doesnt think it needs to take AEW three years to have a black champion and hopes they don't make the same mistake of WWE by waiting fifty years

-Does admit that AEW is making better strides, but some things still need to be fixed

-Wants both AEW and WWE to succeed and just wants the promises that are made to come true

-Says Wrestler doesn't have to be Dark skinned, just feels like there's a big gap and the same stuff over and over and hope her message is able to change that

Khans already defending himself, he needs to learn he doesn't need to respond to everything. Imagine if Vince or HHH said they got rid of talent because they weren't good enough.

Some stuff you need to either take on the chin and work on or handle it in private. Khan's tweet really reads as "IM NOT RACIST I HAVE BLACK FRIENDS."

I don’t know if I agree with Swole, first I personally don’t think she’s that good and didn’t have a character. AEW has longer title reigns, especially for their world titles. It’s a 3 year old company, we are supposed to make Scorpio Sky world champion just because he is black, that should never be the reason why someone becomes world champion imo. Also sounds like she is someone that works well with more structure like WWE compared to a more relaxed environment. I do agree that TK really needs to lay low sometimes.

You make storylines to make people want to see Scorpio Sky as champion is legit that simple my guy. You don't have to make them champion but you can make them a major player in the company.

I get that but I’m talking about the context of the actual title history. They have only had 4 world champions, just so happens they are white. Of course you can build up someone like Sky but it’s not like WWE where they have had a ton of questionable champions before having a black champion

Yeah, i mean Vince rather has his funny writers on the show do stuff where talent has to cheer him when he arrives or have him on screen saying how he enjoys firing people etc...but yeah, not eveything needs a response.

Especially when the response is as butthurt as Tonys in this case.
What she said is valid and its not even in some super mean manner done.
She was saying  what she felt but for the most part was really positive about AEW.
Dont know why he had to go like this, going "Buhu she wasnt that good anyway".

Super bad take from Tony, you just dont do stuff like that.
Especially when Wrestling Twitter in general is in a super messed up state currently with their freaking dumb takes left and right since months.
You gave them ammunition for some god awful nonsense.

Apologize for christ sake Tony, that was so uncalled for.

What the absolute *Censored*?

"I let Swole go because her wrestling wasn't good enough" - TK, December 2021

So which time was he lying?

Agreed with most of everyone’s points. He really just needs to stop putting his foot in his mouth. Hire a PR team that’ll stop him from saying dumb petty shit like this.

Honestly, I rather have people expressing their real, honest emotions themselves (whether you find them disagreeable or not) than some shallow PR firm handling their shit.

Time for a thread split.

Evert since the Big Swole controversy, Twitter as a whole has been a complete mess between WWE & AEW fans. I admit, I’m not a fan at all of WWE these days and I’m a huge AEW supporter, but it feels like a war under every tweet for everything. Mickie James being in the Rumble, ratings, CM Punk & MJF promos, Bryan bleeding, now *censored*ing calling Omega a pedo. Like wtf is going on there ?

No, don’t “to be fair” with me on this. It literally goes both way with things. Have you not seen WWE_WWF_Junkie, WWEGarreth, or JobberNationTV? They’re the most notorious at getting fans riled up all day, everyday.

Both fan bases instigate each other.  I just wish it wasn’t so toxic.

Honestly, after looking at a few of the things...i dont blame Kenny.
Im at the point where i dont blame any Wrestlers and rather wish some of them would get together to wreck Wrestling Twitter a bit, back each other up etc.

Because the audacity Wrestling Twitter has thinking they can be toxic to people and then go "Oh you should be professional", pisses me off.
I can only imagine what kind of shit Kenny shrugs off daily, especially thanks to asshole Cornette and those accounts @Bushy. mentioned.

*Censored* the whole "being professional" thing, more wrestlers should fight back against this...more and more of the AEW/WWE toxics think they have a free ticket to say and act how they want.

Why do people not like Pillman Jr. anymore ? After the DSOTR episode he had so much love & support. Did people really turn on him after the dumb “cancel cancel culture” sweater he wore in that one pic ?

People didn't like him before the episode either lol I think he said some dumb anti-vax shit before or something ignorant about covid very early into the pandemic. And I remember he got shit from other wrestlers at the time for his matches, he like stopped improving after a while. But I think people started to back off after the Dark Side episode aired.

I haven't seen much about him online lately besides that vid of him saying his girlfriend should stop being against oral sex the same day that vid of Hook in the club dropped.
