I think the important thing is just that people don't get opportunities that they haven't earned.

Eliminators or tournaments are a good way to get around sticking entirely to the rankings, while still operating within those constraints. I don't mind it. It's actually a good way of doing things. Like...here are the rankings, but you will have opportunities to "break out" if you can outwork A,B, and C.

Yeah. The con-chair-to injury angle is overdone now, especially with Edge. It felt like every time Edge took time off, WWE would use that angle. lol

Christian's entire stable is played out. Nick Wayne isn't over. Luchasaurus isn't over. Mother Wayne does not deserve to be on tv. The sensible thing to do is to allow Edge and Christian to simply work together on their own. Everything else needs to go.

So, apparently there is a caveat in the CMLL deal that states no Mexican wrestlers outside of CMLL can appear on episodes that the CMLL people appear on. This would include names like Thunder Rosa, Lucha Bros, Bandido, Dralistico, RUSH, Kommander, Vikingo, etc. - I'm honestly not even sure if Tony can legally agree to terms that limit people's ability to work based on their race. I mean...that's what it is. 

I also wonder if Andrade somehow knew this deal was happening, and that's why he dipped...? In any case...not a great show of loyalty to the people like RUSH or Bandido who signed exclusively with AEW. Or to veterans like Thunder Rosa and Lucha Bros who helped build AEW...

Fightful have reported that AEW sources have told them that rumour is false, pointing out that Kommander appeared on the 31 January episode of Dynamite, which the group from CMLL also appeared on.

AEW has this PPV called Big Business coming up. There is a lot of talk and strong speculation that Mercedes Mone is gonna be coming soon to AEW. I feel like the tease behind the PPV is based on Mercedes. Sasha Banks was my favorite in the WWE women's division. When she left with Naomi, I no longer had a favorite female even though a lot of the talent over there right now is amazing.

The more I think about it, the more I start to feel that Mercedes Mone can really really impact the women's division over in AEW. I been hearing a lot of great things about Athena over in ROH. I think Mercedes Mone will be one of those signed talents that really elevates things for Tony Khan this year, if and only IF the rumors are true that she is coming.

Big Business isn’t a PPV event. It’s the March 13th Dynamite. And Mercedes is definitely going to be there. It’s the exact same marketing strategy they used for Punk’s return.

i just realized that alot of dudes left WWE to do the same thing in AEW. Strong is fighing to a low level midcard belt, Claudio ina tag team again.

Just came from the show. Man that was *censored*ing awesome. 
 

Ospreay/Takeshita was the best match I’ve ever seen in person and the Sting send off was so much fun. Definitely worth the drive up here.
