Gable wasn’t the guy to beat Gunther. I like this heel run so far way more than his whacky shhhhhhh crap. Gunther shouldn’t have lost, though.

The tag division and its champs are lower card material. Waste of time.

The main problem is the KOTR tournament. So much of the show is framed around it. I feel like no one knows how to book tournaments. They're so uninspired and lackluster. I wish they just retire the KOTR concept again.

SD on Friday was pretty good, though. That show was probably the best show since WM season.

The main problem is that half of the roster got injured at the same time that The Rock was leaving to film his movie. - They lost Rock, Punk, Rhea, Rollins, Drew, Dominik, Lashley, Asuka, Dragon Lee, Ivar, Zelina, and Cruz Del Toro. - Some of those aren't a huge loss...but, most of them are literally the top draws in the entire company.

KotR is underwhelming in general. It never really delivers as a concept. (It would need to be run like a NJPW tournament to actually mean anything, IMO.) - Just having one vs one matches where one person advances and one doesn't...and always Raw people vs Raw people, and SD vs SD people, is just not an interesting format. They rushed the whole thing...even had matches on house shows...and it feels like somewhere between a foregone conclusion and a complete waste of time.

Otherwise...yeah, they're just struggling to make up for all of their top names being absent. And you can't fill that void with some NXT people. - They have names like Owens, Zayn, Bronson Reed, and Nakamura...but they've also booked those guys into midcard purgatory for so long that they aren't really viable for the top spots anymore.

So...when Reigns returns, he will 100% be a face, right? It makes no sense for him to have anything to do with Solo or the new version of The Bloodline. - Furthermore, I think you have the perfect setup for Survivor Series War Games build in the long run.

You just spend the summer building stuff. Have Roman reconcile with the Usos. Bring all the pieces together. Maybe Reigns returns with Zilla Fatu by his side. He regrets creating The Bloodline. He wants to make family mean something. He gets Zilla to talk to Jimmy and Jey. On the other side, you have Solo with G.o.D...and they bring in Jacob Fatu.

By the fall, you have your War Games match set...

Roman/Zilla/Jimmy/Jey -vs- Solo/Tama/Loa/Jacob Fatu.

Could even add a stip where the winner gets the services of Paul Heyman.

Hell I would have Roman ask Sami to help in War Games

You know...that would be cool too.

Could be something like Reigns/Jimmy/Jey/Sami/Owens -vs- Solo/Tama/Loa/Zilla/Jacob

Reigns apologizes to everyone he wronged.

Apologizes for creating the Bloodline and vows to kill it.

Reunites the twins.

Wins Heyman's freedom back from Solo.

Plus, we get Owens vs Jacob Fatu just for the hell of it? Yeah...I like that.

Kinda hard to believe Liv is in cahoots with Dominik if situations like Braun keep happening. Like, they both would have had to expect JD to come out with Braun still chasing him, and then crashing into Dominik or the cage door into Becky.

Lynch's current WWE deal will be up shortly.

In speaking with WWE sources, they believe they will come to terms with Lynch on a new agreement, but obviously, until and unless something is signed, anything can happen.  Stay tuned.

Raw seemed...ok, I guess. It was a typical WWE program.

I paid half-attention while I did other things.

Saw the Liv kiss, but I'm hearing they didn't even show that on tv?

Anyway...nothing in WWE interests me. Been that way for a while. Likely to continue to be that way.

Gunther is cool. - That's all I got.

The prospect of Gunther vs Priest is weird and not at all something I would have booked. - Gunther vs Cody was the obvious money match...and not getting that because of weird brand split shenanigans as well as the obvious "Rock is coming back for Cody" angle...yeah, I just really don't care.

Gunther vs Cody could have fed families all summer long.

The AJ angle doesn't make any sense to me, honestly. It felt like they did a big swerve angle just to have a talking point on the show. It also felt slightly like it was a response to the MJF "I'm not going anywhere" promo. Kinda like WWE wanted one of their own guys to say "I could retire or go elsewhere, but I'm staying right here."

And on top of that...what sense does it make for Styles to be heading back into a feud with Cody when they already said he wouldn't get another shot at the title and would be going to the back of the line? That just means that Cody is stuck in a non-title feud now. - I'd rather see the champion defending.

Huh? I’m confused. Gallows and Anderson helped AJ at the end by holding back Aldis and security, so it looks like they are teaming up again. Did I miss something?

Oh nvm it was me who missed that lol, nice detail

Oh, don't mind me, I haven't been watching too religiously for a few weeks, last I knew is that AJ ditched them and Michin and they went to NXT.
