Ziggy Vercetti Report post Posted March 10 (edited) I believe the class from last year is going in with the class for this year Anyway 2020’s class Batista and The nWo – “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash & Sean Waltman – are among the inductees in the WWE Hall of Fame's Class of 2020. They are joined by The Bella Twins, JBL, The British Bulldog and Jushin "Thunder" Liger. Edited March 10 by Ziggy Vercetti

M3J Report post Posted March 10 Molly's induction is well deserved!
Generations Report post Posted March 10 I'm pleasantly surprised that they are still doing a class of 2021. I thought they were just going to roll over 2020 and do one class.

Fight Me. Report post Posted March 11 It seems this will be happening on the Tuesday before Mania due to the two-night Takeover and SD. Weird.
Generations Report post Posted March 11 7 minutes ago, Fight Me. said: It seems this will be happening on the Tuesday before Mania due to the two-night Takeover and SD. Weird. Better for me. I don't have anywhere to be on Tuesday. I hope it's 8 hours long. Lol
BestInTheWorld614 Report post Posted March 18 Well deserved but shocked since the circumstances of his last run and since he has been on AEW a few times.
Fight Me. Report post Posted March 18 Fitting he goes in the same year as nWo.

Monarch98 Report post Posted March 19 Considering this is the 20th Anniversary of WCW's demise this year, this has a real sense of irony to it....proof that indeed Hell did indeed freeze over.

I read today (well, yesterday now) was also specifically the 20th anniversary of WCW's very last PPV. Despite Bischoff not being involved anymore near the end of WCW, it's still kinda crazy lol
Austin3035 Report post Posted March 20 So is it safe to say that Eric bischoff would be the headliner for 2021 class as they usually do the headliner first or would Molly Holly be considered the headliner because she was announced first
BestInTheWorld614 Report post Posted March 20 Doesn’t need to be a traditional headliner since the 2020 class is also getting inducted this year.
Fight Me. Report post Posted March 20 Oops. Network may have leaked the next inductee lol
Fight Me. Report post Posted March 20 (edited) It appears Batista is no longer being advertised for this year's Hall of Fame. His photo and paragraph have been removed from the page. No clue why, maybe a scheduling issue. Also haven't heard anything about tickets so this year's induction ceremony could just be in front of the Thunderdome screens or a zoom call for all we know. Not saying Batista is big timing them, but maybe he just wants to go in another year with fans lol There's something funny about Batista being the original headliner and the leaked inductee (one post above) swooping in and potentially taking his spot lmao Edited March 20 by Fight Me. M3J Report post Posted March 21 Why would Daniel Bryan be the next inductee? I don't like Bischoff, but it's well deserved. Dude made WCW successful and nearly crushed WWE.
Fight Me. Report post Posted March 21 2 hours ago, M3J said: Why would Daniel Bryan be the next inductee? He's planning to retire as a full-time wrestler after Mania. My theory is this is their way of getting him on a legends deal so he can't sign elsewhere lol
M3J Report post Posted March 21 oh I didn't know that. Hope everything's okay with him
Luchador LXXXV Report post Posted March 21 He may get offers from AEW or NJPW that could tempt him to accept or maybe even a return to ROH as a full circle thing. If he does, it would be nice to see him go out as a wwe hall of fame! A legends deal may also interest him though as he would be with wwe in some way and make occasional appearances and maybe even be a part timer wrestler. Perhaps be a coach or something at the PC or for NXT. It would also be cool to see him remain on wwe merchandise such as be a playable character in wwe games but now as a legend
Ziggy Vercetti Report post Posted March 22 We reported earlier today that WWE had removed former superstar Batista from their Hall of Fame induction page, with many wondering if the Animal not being able to attend this year’s ceremony played a factor in that decision. According to Fightful Select, that seems to be the case as WWE has told the publication they hope to induct Batista when a full crowd can be in attendance to enjoy it, and for now have delayed his entry into the Hall of Fame. The remainder of the 2020 class, along with the new entrants from 2021, will participate in the ceremony, which will be pre-taped. The report also addresses the Daniel Bryan situation. The Peacock service labeled Bryan as a 2021 Hall of Fame inductee, but it has been confirmed that this was just an error and there’s no indication that he will be joining this year’s class. Ziggy Vercetti Report post Posted March 23 Rumored name ECW Original Rob Van Dam is reportedly going into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. It was reported today by Fightful Select that WWE plans to induct the former ECW, WCW, WWE and Impact/TNA star during WrestleMania 37 Weekend as a part of the 2021 Class. RVD has a new WWE Icons documentary that is set to premiere in the next few weeks. It was noted that this episode is scheduled to include the news of the Hall of Fame induction. Van Dam most recently wrestled for Impact in 2020. His last WWE run was in 2014 but he made a special appearance at the RAW Reunion show in July 2019. Stay tuned for more on plans for the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, which are scheduled to air on Tuesday, April 6 via Peacock and the WWE Network during WrestleMania 37 Week. Below is the current line-up for the 2020 and 2021 classes: 2021 CLASS: * Rob Van Dam (not officially announced) * Eric Bischoff * Molly Holly * Names TBA 2020 CLASS: * Batista (reportedly being saved for another year with fans) * The Bella Twins * JBL * Jushin Thunder Liger * “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith * The nWo (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman)
