Basically, Regal only signed with AEW because Vince let him go (which is true for a LOT of people). Really no surprise that he'd come right back with the changing of the guard. Same would probably be true for people like Mark Henry and JR as well. - I have actually wondered what JR's thoughts are on the whole situation, tbh. (I don't have any real desire to have JR back on commentary. Just saying).

That's her real name, just slightly altered as Ray instead of Rae. She probably will get a completely new name though.

Well, I admit that I didn't know that. But, it's honestly the Rae/Ray bit that bothers me. - Also, "don't fix what isn't broken" holds true to me, even for real names. Just hate seeing anyone with any name value change their stage name for no reason.

Dragon Lee announces WWE signing

Dragon Lee is heading to WWE after a surprise announcement at tonight's Lucha Libre AAA event. After an emotional victory with his brother, Dragon Lee relinquished his title and made the shocking reveal.

A second-generation Lucha Libre Superstar, Lee has won championships worldwide with his supreme skills as both a singles competitor and a tag team aficionado.

The high-flying and uber-athletic Dragon Lee has earned industry-wide respect with his seamless blend of acrobatics with mat technician skills.  The Mexican-born Superstar has ruled every ring that he’s ever graced with his unique and jaw-dropping offense and is now officially taking his talents to NXT.

A great signing. I just hope they do more with him than they've done with others.

WWE always has this weird thing with luchadores, where they hire them and then kind of subconsciously place them under Rey Mysterio, or in his shadow, or whatever. Which is fair...to an extent. Rey is undoubtedly the most legendary luchadore that ever lived. BUT...it keeps growth from happening. Dragon Lee is a super talented performer who already has a name for himself. I worry about him being on NXT instead of the main roster (this used to be the other way around)...and I worry that they will strip him of his identity and make him scratch and crawl against Rey's legacy.

Sadly this is most likely what is going to happen. They are going to take his mask off, change his name, and ask him to wrestler differently. They do this with every luchador they sign and then wonder why the audience didn't care for them if they were already big in Mexico. They are just gonna ruin this guy too unfortunately.

PWInsiderElite.com has heard from multiple WWE sources that the 7/7 Friday Night Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in NYC is targeted for Carlito's return to the company.  So, he's heading to the Blue brand.

Welcome back !!!!!

KAIRI Sane, who exited WWE in December 2012, has come to terms with WWE to return to the company.  We are told that her return will be imminent, possibly as soon as this week.  She and Asuka were the Kabuki Warriors together, so the smart money says that could be the direction here

The Jade stuff is so weird, since she literally just returned and challenged for the TBS title, and said she was right where she wanted to be, etc. - I also hate the timing of this news, since they just brought back that worthless sack of shit, Nia Jax. I mean...a Jade vs Rhea or Jade vs Raquel angle could have been cool. I like those powerhouse matchups. BUT...anything involving Nia is an automatic L. I guess they could have Jade squash Nia Jax to gain some fan praise...and then do Jade vs Rhea. Still...I was perfectly content to just watch Rhea dominate for a longer period of time.

Apparently there’s a lot of interest from WWE in

Ricky Starks

as well. As for

Jade, I was hoping she was WWE-bound eventually when her deal was up. Had no idea it was so soon. I don’t know what to make of it in general though from an in-ring perspective. Her matches rarely exceeded 5 min didn’t they? Definitely not 10. Then she loses her title and takes a long, long vacation, as if she had done more than wrestle once or twice a week this whole time. I dunno…looks and attitude-wise, she’s got it-factor, something many new people to WWE are lacking, so I welcome her with open arms. Much like Kairi though, I just wonder if she’s really got a WWE level run left in her right now. We shall see. Wish her and her bank account the absolute best!

And other young AEW stars like MJF, Ricky Starks, Hobbs, Statlander, and Hatyer should all follow suit once their contracts expire. Let AEW rely on WWE castoffs, your run-of-the-mill bland indie wrestlers, and the buddies of the Elite.

AEW Stars are fully aware that the fame, popularity and impact they made in AEW doesn't automatically mean the same is going to happen if they end up in WWE right?

I think the names being mentioned here for WWE are definitely future stars, and they know it. It's very much a case of people saying "we know what we're worth, and we'll go somewhere that will give us that shot".

Jade is still green...but she has the "it" factor and the look that WWE love. I don't see her having any issue getting pushed in a big way if she debuts in WWE. And Ricky Starks is a main event guy, and he knows it. While I do think he should stay in AEW until he at least becomes world champion once...I also see that he would be hugely valuable to WWE and probably be at least a US champion shortly after his arrival. He has the fire and he also has the "it" factor.
