JLJM
I posted this in 2k19, but any result could be used for 2K20 too, so... I'm wondering if anyone would like to create some plate renders for this championship: http://topropebelts.com/gallery/world-wrestling-extreme-fighting-mma-title/#details. I have pulled the images but the lighting for the main plate is really poor in game and I don't have the know-how to adjust it recreate. Any help is greatly appreciated. Petey_the_Clown
have you tried just putting the image directly onto the strap... and Hiding all the plate options?
JLJM
Yep. That and adjusting the transparency after putting various backing reliefs set to full white, messing with the emboss setting and the materials too. I'm not new to creating by a long shot, but I have also never created a render/texture like this from scratch. I do recall that there are some gurus around here who can work some near magic with drawing/painting tools, which is why I posted.
Petey_the_Clown
I'm about to settle down with mates on a virtual NXT watch along... I'll have a peak into this tomorrow. I've seen others use in game plates, screen grab them and cut your belt to fit the plate perfectly.. so might try and see what I can do.
Petey_the_Clown
I tried.... it's not perfect... Just did the front plate and the side one.. might have to double up on the left and right side of the belt. did them at 512 x 512 and 256 x
JLJM
Thanks so much, @Petey_the_Clown I'll give your images a shot, though I'm still concerned about the amount of shadow on the main plate. Any ideas how to lessen that?
Petey_the_Clown
Yeh Not much I could do with the shadow, unless I got better Picture! When i've made some customs belts for myself I've found that the shadows give it a more real feel... Sometimes the wwe ones seem too fake in game, especially with the weird lighting in 2k20
