These last few weeks, since there is no crowd, EVERYTHING is focused only on the dynamics and stories between superstars. That's why we got promos like we got with for example Seth and KO. They are both terrific guys on the mic, yes, but this gave them that nuanced edge that was needed. Why? Because they don't have to "worry" about the audience in the arena, they don't have to cater to that, not even for a second. On TV, we are supposed to get... this. That's also one of the reasons why people find much easier to watch NXT, everything is not a party, it's not a "show" that we are in, it's a their world that we get to watch. Yes, even on TV crowd reactions are part of the experience, but that's where the line is IMO, they get to react, but when things turn into a show for the live audience more than anything, things get to be off.
