Astro Zombie Report post Posted September 11, 2019 AEW's roster is supposedly only around 40% complete from what I've read, so who are some people you want to see in AEW? Some off the top of my head.. Chris Dickinson - Amazing talent. Not sure what his deal with Evolve is currently but with a bunch of people leaving the indies at the end of the month I think he's primed to be a big star in 2020. Tabarnak De Team - tbh it's been a few years since I've seen them, but they're a real good Canadian tag team. Two big lumberjack badasses. Read that they killed it on a show that Cody was on recently so hopefully something will come of it. The Briscoes - I feel like they're probably ROH lifers, but if there's anyone in ROH that I wanna see them try to get, it's the Briscoes. Chris Sabin/Alex Shelley - Not sure how much either guy has left in the tank at this point, but I'd love to see MCMG get a run in a top company. Tessa Blanchard - The top female wrestler in the world bar none IMO. I know she's got a deal with Impact but Dashwood appearing in the Buy In battle royal gives me hope. Counting Lights Report post Posted September 12, 2019 Independent & Smaller Company Based Wrestlers Johnny Mundo - Great athlete, plays solid characters, and is someone that casual viewers could recognize. Marty Scurll - A total given, but I love everything about Marty, probably my favorite of the BTE crew. If he wants to bring Villain Enterprises with him, I wouldn't be opposed. Stu Bennett - The former Wade Barrett is a 10/10 talker and character, and a very solid wrestler. He has stayed quiet since leaving WWE, now's the time to make a comeback. Dalton Castle - Dalton is one of my favorite characters in the business. His antics with the Boys are fun TV, and the guy is a great wrestler. He's cooled off in recent years, and maybe a change of scenery is what he needs. Tenille Dashwood - I loved her as Emma, and I would love to see her get a bigger platform like AEW. Seeing her in the Battle Royal, I think we have a chance. Brian Cage - The guy is a machine, and AEW doesn't really have any truly big guys on the roster, other than Luchasaurus and Evil Uno. He would fill an empty void. He was also at the AEW pre-show party, soooo who knows. Tessa Blanchard - There's so much hype around her right now, it's almost a no brainer as long as they could work out a deal with Impact. WWE/NJPW Wrestlers I'd Like to Jump Ship (I can go on and on with these, so I'll TRY to limit myself) Cesaro - Cesaro will never main event in WWE. AEW is a fresh start for one of the best there is in the ring. The Revival - IMO the best tag team in the world. They really haven't shown what they're capable of since getting called up, and I think they would thrive in a company that really does care about tag team wrestling Asuka - Has to be one of the top 5 womens wrestlers in the world, but she's become a total afterthought in WWE. If she comes to AEW, she might be the person they build their division around. Also, Asuka vs Shida? PLEASE! Tyler Breeze - Him being one of my favorites, I'm a little bias here, but it look's like Tyler has reached his glass ceiling in WWE. He's so young, he has a full career ahead of him and I think he might honestly be better off jumping ship to AEW. We'll see what NXT looks like once they get their TV deal, but I really think he could be a bigger deal than he is. Rusev & Aiden English - Rusev Day was such a hot act, if they could just pick up where they were in AEW I'd be thrilled. The name would have to get tweaked obviously, but these guys would be a great addition to the roster. Luke Harper - Amazing talent, free the man and let him do great things in AEW. Jack Gallagher - He's been stuck on 205 for so long, and I feel like other crusiers have come in and overshadowed him now time and time again. He was one of the few cruiserweights who actually got over with the RAW & PPV crowds, and I think he would gel really well with guys like MJF in AEW. Zack Sabre Jr - Zack's one of the best in the world. Do I think he'll jump ship right now? Prob's not, but God damn I would love to see him on AEW TV. We also don't really have anyone to fill the "submission specialist" role in AEW right now. Kota Ibushi - I'd be most interested in Kota due to story reasons. With Kenny losing his mind, Kota appearing and not knowing what the hell was going on would add a really interesting dynamic. An eventual feud between the two would be amazing as well. Lunchbox Report post Posted September 12, 2019 Cesaro has been in WWE so long there is a fresh crop of indy dudes i need to see him wrestling so bad, hell him in the G1 would be in*censored*ingcredible.
Astro Zombie Report post Posted September 12, 2019 Marko Stunt vs. Claudio Castagnoli is the dream match I never knew I wanted before this moment
Creepia Report post Posted September 12, 2019 Johnny Elite,Jeff Cobb, Marty Scurll and Tenille are the only indy guys off the top of my head that I'd like to see. Luke Harper jumping ship would be great too, as would Rusev and Lana.
Generations Report post Posted September 12, 2019 No one, right now. Let's see how they handle building up their current roster first. I could easily write a short list of people I want in NWA though.
Astro Zombie Report post Posted September 13, 2019 No one, right now. Let's see how they handle building up their current roster first. I could easily write a short list of people I want in NWA though. They've only got 48 in-ring people signed, I feel like that's a little light for a weekly TV show once you take into consideration tag teams and talent who are really only there because they helped The Elite along the way. I will agree though, a small roster of well developed talent beats a roster of guys that elicit the "WHO DA FOOK IS DAT GUY" response. NWA's gonna be really weird in an interesting way. The studio style taping will surely rub some fans the wrong way in an era where most fans are accustomed to massive arenas. NWA is also arguably the lowest (in terms of fanbase and buzz) of all the promotions heading into new TV deals so it'll be interesting to see who they sign. Lunchbox Report post Posted September 14, 2019 I want to see Morrison, Taya, and PJ Black come in to reunite Worldwide Underground.
Counting Lights Report post Posted September 14, 2019 PJ forming a stable with Angelico and Evans would be awesome. I'd rather Johnny & Taya do their own thing though.

Bruh you named 100 year old Tim Storm lol At least Phantasmo is apart of Bullet Club and is currently a champ in New Japan. I don't think he was harping on at EP. More like saying they should pluck a talented indy dude most people aren't familiar with. At least that what I took from it. Lunchbox Report post Posted September 14, 2019 Wonder how someone like Nick Gage would do on a bigger platform. People seem to like Janela on a bigger stage and Gage for his worth is probably one of the bigger stars on the indy scene right now. There is no entrance on the planet right now like a Nick Gage and minus his match at 5150 he does wild matches that shouldnt be too much for a mainstream audience to handle. I think people are accustomed to it well enough these days. Perhaps I'm (massively) underestimating that they mean by studio taping. I thought they meant some USWA type stuff lmao. I hope I'm wrong though Wonder how someone like Nick Gage would do on a bigger platform. Gage is amazing in his element but I'm not sure how that'd translate to TV. His entrance will get you hype af sitting on your couch but there's no way they'd let him launch himself into groups of fans before hugging them and saying they're his people and the like lol. I feel like his record would be a big issue though unfortunately Edited September 14, 2019 by Astro Zombie
Lunchbox Report post Posted September 14, 2019 That shit gets me hyped in person. I never had an opinion of Gage until the TOS at Starland Ballroom.

Lunchbox Report post Posted September 15, 2019 I'm going to throw Killer Kross out there, dude has a incredible look, can back it up in the ring and is looking to leave TNA as soon as he can. Man is like the most disrespected dude in wrestling now and should be everywhere.
KamenRangerW Report post Posted September 21, 2019 I'd love to see the following sign with AEW. Tenille Dashwood Johnny Mundo Willie Mack (Though he'd be a great fit for NWA) The Revival (Again would fit in perfectly with NWA too) Drago (They could use some more Lucha Libre) Taya Tessa Blanchard (Probably the hottest female wrestler in wrestling currently. I don't mean her looks when I say hottest. She just a really talented wrestler.) Contra Unit (Say what you want about Josef, but the dude can *Censored* a mother*censored*er up.) Lance Storm (Get this man signed as a trainer or something.)
glennsoe Report post Posted October 7, 2019 Teddy Hart would be a good fit...
ArmVD Report post Posted October 8, 2019 If what Dino Winwood has been saying on nL streams is true about him getting the bug to return to wrestling, I'd love to see "Photogenic" Chris Bosh. Not sure his gimmick would work today, though. Maybe they could lure Scott Lost out of retirement too, as I think both Bosh and Lost are better as a team. I know he's making comics, and gave up wrestling, but maybe the promise of wrestling on a big stage could bring him back.
Lunchbox Report post Posted October 8, 2019 I would *censored*ing cry if Chris Bosh came back.
