Jeb ★
Don't know where else to put this but... There's a deal until Sept 2 for free D23 members where if you pay $140 up front for a 3-year Disney+ subscription you'd save $69 (regular price per year is $69.99 so you'd be saving a year's worth)
Generations
It's an undeniably good deal...but, I don't like the idea of giving anyone that much money up-front for a service. Edited August 27, 2019 by Generations
Mango kid
Yeah that seems like there's going to be a catch to that 50 commercials every 5 minutes on a show
Generations
Yeah that seems like there's going to be a catch to that 50 commercials every 5 minutes on a show They never announced an alternative version with/without commercials...it's the same service that everyone else will get, which as far as we know, is the only service that will be available at launch. They just want a lot of money as early as possible, to help cover their expenses. As it is, they're giving away a shitload of content for a ridiculously low price. If they can get people to pay them $140 on day one, instead of waiting for it to roll in monthly, that benefits both Disney and the people who want to save money in the long run. Sorta. It usually comes out 3 months after release. Except Avengers, that's usually 4 months
Generations
Be interesting to see what happens with Disney + being a thing. They might start holding out on digital and physical releases just to make people subscribe for the earliest possible viewing.
