Probably more interested in 'What If' than anything else.

Ultimately depends on the quality of the animation, and how stupid (or not) the scenarios are. Also, I want new stuff...not stuff that we already saw in the offshoot comics. New stuff that has been considered at great length and detail, and is as fun as it can be. Don't just give me 'What if Punisher had the Venom suit?" or 'What if Captain American was Hydra?'. Give me 'What if the Incredible Hulk had an adamantium skeleton?' or something.

Good segue into the previous thread's discussion of ANIMATION.. :hqhq:

There is nothing wrong with animation. I just prefer non-animated films over animated films. In the same way as I prefer TV series over movies in general. Nothing wrong with the latter!

One of the original comic stories for this was "What If Stan Lee Wrote Batman".

Still wanna know why people wanted to avoid Into the Spider-Verse, especially since it did look pretty good from the trailers.

For me it was literally.... "ahhh its animated - I'll probably skip this one and stick to the MCU hero stuff."

Ooops.

Also, I'll add that it not being apart of the MCU added to the hesitation.

Another Endgame deleted scene. Wow. :(

Waiting for Venom and Spidey to clash at some point, if whoever in MCU said that they will is telling the truth.

That's a shame. I missed it in theater as well, but it'd have been amazing to see that skyline spinning scene on the big screen.

Imagine if it was a part of MCU though, especially since we're apparently getting a multi-verse as well.

I'm the exact same. I'm very indifferent to animation or cartoons as a medium. Not my cup of tea. Spiderverse was very good though, it's one of the few exceptions where I sought out an animated property.

Please let that Marvel If be Marvel vs. Capcom. Please.

No, they already said what it is. Scenes from the MCU playing out differently. What does the MCU (I know the games exist, but they are nothing to do with the MCU) have to do with Capcom?

I've been fascinated with animation since I was a child. It's something that you can break down as you watch...like, knowing that things were drawn by hand (or animated by a computer these days)...I've always thought about that process, even as a child.

I got into wrestling for the same reason. It was something that I could disassemble as I watched it...appreciate all the work that went into even the smallest scenes. Like...with live action film, you can just blow something up, and it looks good, because it's real. In animation, you need to trick the viewer into seeing something that isn't there. It's pretty wild how they do it all.

I had an art teacher in high school who told my friend that video games weren't art...and that always stuck with me. That kid went on to start his own game development company, released a game on Xbox Live, and now works with VR development. So, any dismissal of animation as a legit art form or whatever always reminds me of that. Not saying anyone here is dismissing animation like that...just thinking out loud.

Well Mahvel Infinite was basically a giant MCU ad.

But really, nothing. Just hoping for something that has no chance of happening.

I just crave a Marvel fighting game JUST like Injustice/MK I know we have Contest of Champions on mobile but I want a full console fighting game of JUST Marvel. I dislike Street Fighter/MvC. I also dislike FighterZ and I love DBZ but dislike the fighting style of it. I tried MvC but just couldn't get into it. Just want a Marvel Injustice hell Marvel vs Injustice would make BANK

I pre-ordered digitally Endgame on my PS4 and the movie show up with the price as if I didn't buy it. Isn't the digital version supposed to be available today?

There are other ways to find it online if you catch my drift. I literally just watched that long ass movie last night. Very pleased with it, it even had me in tears multiple times and I know that probably makes me a little bitch but, screw it. If no part of those over 3 hours produces any tears, you don't have a heart or soul. Edited by Spamming Nooblet

I feel like...if you know a movie is 3 hours and you plan accordingly to watch it when you have the free time to watch it, then 3 hours is really not long at all. Especially if the movie is good. 3 hour movies only feel long if you don't expect them to be 3 hours long...or if they're simply not enjoyable movies.

I feel like the time travelling was a missed opportunity for some interesting action scenes. They keep saying to avoid interacting with anyone but they end up messing it up anyway (Loki escaping, Thanos knowing his future, Hydra believing Cap is on their side, ect.).

Like have War Machine take part in the Battle of New York as fanservice since many were disappointed he wasn't involved.

That could have ended in disaster, since War Machine's location was well known by the US government and a second one suddenly appearing could have lead to far more drastic changes. Remember. Not a single doppelgänger was discovered during the time travelling, except for Nebula. Which almost caused the complete destruction of the (main) Universe.
