kidd0
TMZ is reporting that Ric Flair was in the Atlanta area when something went wrong. The 70-year-old WWE legend was initially taken to the emergency room to be treated. The specifics are unclear at this point -- but we're told the situation is "very serious." TMZ reached out to Ric's camp for comment -- so far, no word back. Ric was in the hospital in 2017 where he was placed in a medically induced coma for 11 days after his intestine ruptured. Flair was in critical condition and on the verge of dying. We're hoping it isn't as serious as that but please, thoughts and prayers for the Flair family. We will update you as more details emerge. https://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/wwe/ric-flair-hospitalized-reportedly-very-serious#disqus_thread

Generations
From his past medical troubles, to Triple H and the WWE outright saying that he shouldn't be alive...at least we've had ample time to prepare for the worst. Won't make it suck any less when he's gone...but, it's felt like the dude has been on borrowed time for a while. Godspeed, Ric. Seems like they updated the story and Conrad Thompson is saying it's a routine procedure, and not serious. I gotta be honest though...that just sounds like some half-assed PR work. If it was a routine procedure, wouldn't Ric have had the forethought to tell his fans not to worry?

Probably just means that they figured it would happen and would have a plan prepared when it did. But please pull through Ric.

Ziggy Vercetti
Man 2019 been cruel with deaths and heath scares We noted earlier how WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was rushed to a hospital in the Atlanta area after suffering a medical emergency. It was noted that Flair was facing a very serious situation, according to TMZ. In an update, Flairs son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, participated in a media call to promote Starrcast II this afternoon and said Flairs situation is not as serious as TMZ made it out to be. Conrad also said Flair underwent a scheduled surgery today. He made it clear that this was a procedure that The Nature Boy needed and had previously made the decision to have it done before his trip to Las Vegas for the big roast next week, instead of waiting until after the event to have it. Stay tuned for updates on Flairs status.
