Anyone has the footage of Charlotte dropping her title? They edited it out but left Becky throwing her title to Charlotte.

If you were wondering why MSK are getting booed, it seem Izzy's parent are behind it. One of MSK criticized Izzy wrestling at the age of 13 few years ago and her parents are holding a grudge about it and trying to sabotage them in NXT.

So i was thinking bout this. I think the orginal MSK quote was talking about how she was training with Tessa and a sex offender at 13. But her parents being like this is going to lead her to a super rough wrestling career.

Hmm... now that I see how it went, it not how I imagined. From the report, it sounded like Charlotte simply drop her title in a unprofessional way. But here I see Charlotte take off her title (with the most didn't give a damn face) and Becky trying to steal her title? It kinda looked like they were all in-character doing this.

If Charlotte was unprofessional then what was Bret Hart at Survivor Series 97? Dude didn’t even want to drop the title so they “had” to take it from him. But everybody is shitting on Charlotte. Bullshit. This is the shit I’m talking about. Fans pick and choose what they want to be outraged by. Because with that same, “do what your boss tells you” logic I’ve seen on Twitter and etc then Bret should’ve did what the hell he was told and dropped the strap. But even after that, Bret is the victim to the majority of fans. It’s a double standard quite frankly.

That is new to me, but i can see it.
While i do think most of the Roster is pretty cool and all, there are people with Huge egos backstage too.
That is only natural in the business and in General.
I dont think for a second Charlotte is super innocent, but i doubt she is by far the worst with the biggest Ego backstage.

And considering the opportunitys she got and how much the Woman push to get more spotlight, it would come to no surprise if they talk behind her back and all that.

Yup, having seen the segment now I can say Charlotte did in fact improve the segment. Yeah, it’s unprofessional to go against what was planned but I’m not going to chastise her for making the segment actually better. Do I want the heel that people are cheering for to do the thing they want (Becky 2 Belts)? Or do I want the heel to disrespect the person that people are cheering for and stop them from getting what they want—(because y’know, she’s a freakin’ heel)? I’ll take the latter.

Swapping belts is ass. And Becky has been pretty goddamn unbearable for a long time as well.

Sounds like the typical WWE spin of making someone look bad before they leave to work elsewhere.

The talk of the weekend was the Charlotte Flair-Becky Lynch confrontation that went down after their segment on FOX's Friday Night Smackdown this past Friday.

As PWInsider.com first reported early Saturday morning, the heated back and forth between the two took place after Flair, in an unscripted moment, pulled the Raw Women's Championship away from Lynch and dropped it, with the belief being that it was done to make Lynch look stupid and "one up her."  Sonya Deville demanded Flair pick the belt up, which Flair did before handing it to Deville.

The Lynch confrontation took place in the gorilla position in full view of Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard, among others and received the lion's share of attention initially, but Lynch was not the only person upset with Flair.  Two different sources described Sonya Deville as "mad enough to want to fight Flair" and at one point, also having an argument with Flair backstage at Smackdown.

The Lynch argument was said to have been loud and angry with Lynch described as standing up for herself after being "disrespected."

Thus far, the blame for the situation has fallen on Charlotte Flair, with several claiming that the situation started after Flair made it clear she felt the segment made her and her championship reign look weak.  There have been several alleged instances where Flair's behavior has led to issues in recent months, including a legitimate back and forth with Nia Jax in the ring on Raw.

The criticism on Flair has been that she's been self-indulgent towards protecting herself and making sure that all attention is on her, but one source not close to Flair said, "Let's be honest, that's what stars do.  They make sure their star power remains the same or greater."    Another source noted that the resentment towards Flair has been building in recent weeks and it was "just a matter of time" before something happened.

Flair was escorted out of the building by WWE officials, which some close to her pointed to as a "sign of disrespect" in itself, given her family's history with the company and her importance to the Smackdown brand going forward.   One talent who was in the building, but did not see the argument, felt the company did the right thing as it was just WWE's way to defusing the situation in the moment.

As PWInsider.com reported over the weekend, there does not seem to be any heat on Lynch at this time as the confrontation never got physical.

For those who have asked, Flair was not backstage at AEW in Orlando, Florida over the weekend, although she has visited backstage in the past as Andrade el Idolo works for the company.  We are told that there were those in her circle that were privately pushing the idea of her trying to get out of her WWE deal, but realistically, no one expects that to actually happen as of this writing.

Since Flair and Lynch are now on separate brands and a UK tour keeping the brands separated for a good part of next month, they would likely not be crossing paths until WWE storylines call for that for Survivor Series storylines.  There are a number of people within WWE keeping their eyes on Flair to see what will happen with her and how she will handle herself when she heads to Friday's Smackdown taping in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

FOX replayed Friday's Smackdown episode on Saturday 10/24 due to the Major League Baseball American League Championship series ending and needing to fill the time slot.  Flair dropping the belt was edited off the Championship Exchange segment, so expect it to likewise disappear when the episode is archived on the WWE Network in a few weeks

but he was willing to drop it on the next show or something, if I recall correctly his issue was that it didn't make sense?

Also, are you talking about fans now or back then?

Bret was fully willing to drop the title to anyone but Shawn. He was originally fine to drop the title to him, but when Bret asked if him would do the same if the situation was reversed Shawn said no.

Then on the day of Survivor Series he got told it would be a DQ finish, but obviously that didn't happen.

Ah right. It's hard to go after Bret when he was okay with losing the title to anyone but Shawn, whom Shawn could have won off whoever beat Bret.

Charlotte isn’t Bret in this situation, Becky (and Sonya) is. Charlotte purposely veered away from everybody’s understanding of how the segment was supposed to go just like Vince did.

the point about it making the segment better is irrelevant to me personally. it’s a team effort. as an actor, if my scene partner is routinely stepping on my lines or improvising some action that’s harmful to the scene and me then yeah i’m gonna be mad. we all know the title exchange was stupid but i bet if Charlotte told Becky and Sonya what she wanted to do in the segment, they probably would’ve been on board and worst case they all get scolded for not doing what was planned but at least nobody is blindsided in front of millions of people.

Yeah, I don’t get the SS ‘97 comparison. Bret wasn’t the one who went rogue (if you will) in that situation. It was VKM, HBK, and Hebner who did. They lied to him about the finish; they were the ones who went against the plan.

Also, Bret at that point had the power to decide who he wanted to drop the belt to and he didn’t want to drop it to HBK (rightfully so, the guy was a prick), so I honestly don’t see how Bret was in the wrong at all. The guy was loyal to the company for years, took less money to stay with them, and then when the time came for the company to have his back, they decide his contract no longer worked for them. Nah, *Censored* that. Bret’s actions were vindicated.

Yeah, the comparison make no sense. HBK disrespected Bret. Bret had creative control and he promised to drop the title after the PPV to anyone else. The situation went the way it is because Vince had trust issues because of what Alundra Blayze did and he chose to not trust Bret.

There was no beef between Becky, Sonya & Charlotte. Charlotte went off-script without consulting them. Even if her intention was for the better, it never fun when someone do the unexpected. Especially in front of a live crowd where you have to react immediatedly on the spot to not mess up. We should also not forget how Charlotte reacted in her match with Nia Jax where it looked like she wanted to legit fight Jax in the middle of the match recently.

^ lol and I was trying to remember also if I either missed something from the Montreal Screwjob Darkside of the Ring episode or not cause like stated above, Bret was indeed down to drop the title post Survivor Series if what happened didn’t go down

Yup, for as awkward as it was...it was in my opinion what should happen.
Not some "here buddy, good luck with this title" kind of thing.
Because they fight for those titles, there is story behind it...just swapping them and being happy, is god damn stupid.

Charlotte should have talked to Becky and Sonya about this instead of acting like a brat.
Wrestling above all else, relies on teamwork...if you arent a teamplayer, it hurts everyone.

I get that. For me though, it doesn’t change the perspective of what he was willing to do. His boss told him to do something. He should’ve did it. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Like imagine being told drop the title, “I’m willing to drop it the next night because he doesn’t respect me and it’s my hometown” and blah *censored*ing blah. He was asked to do something. Lol
