Tips for having good tag matches?

Anyone got any tips for having great tag matches? I think I've had one good tag match, and I think that was down to the CPU accidentally telling a story. all matches feel the same, and with the tag teams we got this year it sucks I can't do awesome matches.

I never do regular tag matches, I stick with wacky rules, My Favorite is 2 out of 3 tornado falls count anywhere, Sometimes with 3 teams.

My best matches have been triple threat tag HIAC and TLC's, eliminations etc. But I just want good normal tags but I think I'll be following your lead for 2v2

As someone that plays a lot of normal tag matches, I just try to replicate what most teams actually do. Cut the ring in half, isolate your opponent from their partner, knock the ref out so you can pull out some weapons.

That and setting up double team sequences. Like doing a tag move, that leaves both members of a tag-team in the ring, before using the illegal partner to do a dive to the illegal opponent in order to leave the ring. Or utilising diving/springboard finishers in a way that flows together.

Tag team championship matches are fun on PPV, but I always dread seeing them booked on weekly shows. Ugh.
