To keep a long introduction short, I've been casually making CAWs since the SvR days, and with 2K19's new improvements to the creation modes plus me finally learning how to do graphic design to a workable extent, I've finally have some work that I feel confident putting out there for people to see. Every CAW in here is going to be based on CAWs I've been remaking from earlier titles, though their designs and even their names have undergone drastic changes through the series' life cycle. With that being said, I hope you enjoy.Some of these CAWs are already up on CC, those are marked with bold. The hashtags for all of them are KOST and OGW.Show Name: OGW (Obnoxious Gimmick Wrestling)Lore: A privately owned professional wrestling promotion based in Boston, Massachusetts. Their company motto is “Gimmick over talent!” Following wrestling’s transition from an athletic sport into an entertainment spectacle, OGW puts stronger emphasis on the theatrical aspect of the industry, with intricate storylines and flamboyant gimmicks. Wrestlers are booked based on the popularity of their gimmick, rather than their in-ring talent, though the two aren’t always mutually exclusive.Roster (Men)Master Dojo Height: 6.0 ftWeight: 245 lbsBilled from: The Land of the Rising Sun Signatures: Karate Chop, Brain ChopFinishers: Mantis Hands (Chop Combination), Locust Feet (Spinning Leg Lariat)Lore: The founder and owner of OGW. For many years Master Dojo honed his skills in the Far East, before bringing his mastery of martial arts over to the West and becoming a wrestling legend. Now he seeks new blood to teach in his old age, and running his own wrestling promotion gives him the opportunity to do just that. Rumors that he’s actually Hawaiian are nothing but baseless slander. A genius entrepreneur and a dominating presence in the ring. Whether it’s business or wrestling, he can be lenient as well as ruthless. Some people say he makes his money out of shady businesses and deals with otherworldly, non-Euclidean beings. Those people don’t know what’s good for them. Gus Paxton Height: 6.4 ftWeight: 280 lbsBilled from: Greece Signatures: Body Punches & Uppercut, CombinationFinishers: Pankratiast Piledriver (Sit-out Piledriver), Strength of Atlas (Military Press Drop)Lore: A man who styles himself as the archetypal “Greek Lover”, conveniently ignoring the fact that he’s hated by… well, everyone. He’s a cheater, he plays dirty, he has no respect for anyone but himself, he’s literally the worst! Despite his abhorrent attitude, his effective mix of Pankration, boxing and street fight moves make him a force to be reckoned with in the ring. Padre Payaso Height: 5.10 ftWeight: 205 lbsBilled from: Mexico Signatures: Avalanche Hurricanrana, Standing MoonsaultFinishers: Conejo Lunático (Moonstomp)Lore: He is the champion of laughter, who brings smiles to all children around the world. Coming all the way from Mexico, he is lucha libre legend, Padre Payaso! Despite being past his prime, this old clown can still fight the good fight. His impressive achievements came with no small amount of pain and broken bones, but Eckhard will do anything to give the fans a good show. If the fans want blood, Eckhard will blade not only his forehead, but also the rest of his face for good measure. And then he will throw himself off the ring and through a flaming table on his own volition. Ernest has been knighted by the Queen of England herself, God bless her. Despite being a genuine nobleman, Ernest’s attitude is rather… crude and working class-like. Sir Ernest, or “King Ernest” as he occasionally calls himself, might have such a high opinion of his person that even following proper protocol is considered beneath him. NEWFrancois de Richelieu Height: 5.11 ftWeight: 185 lbsBilled from: Paris, FranceSignatures: Running Euro Uppercut, Springboard Swanton BombFinishers: Mandate from Heaven (Shooting Star), Gentleman’s Glove Slap (Looping Palm Strike)Lore: As a direct descendant of Louis XVI, Francois de Richelieu was born for royalty. He swears that one day he shall claim his birthright and restore the French monarchy. Until that day comes, he makes a living wrestling as the world’s only French luchador, slapping dirty commoners with his gloves and pinning them. Roster (Women)Jesusa la Payasa (hashtags: KOST, OGW) Height: 5.3 ftWeight: 108 lbsBilled from: Mexico Signatures: Hand Spring Moonsault, Avalanche HurricanranaFinishers: Conejo Lunático (Moonstomp), Venganza de la Payasa (Standing Shiranui)Lore: The Savior of Women’s Wrestling. She trained in Mexico with her father, the legendary Padre Payaso, before moving to the States. She may look like a clown, but her heart is that of a true luchadora. Her laugh was recently ranked among the Top 5 most annoying sounds in pro wrestling. Alostrael (hashtags: KOST, OGW) Height: 6.2 ftWeight: 215 lbsBilled from: Babylon Signatures: Two-Handed Chokeslam, Super ChokeslamFinishers: Gore of Babylon (Gory Bomb), Therion Claw (Mandible Claw)Lore: The Scarlet Demon Queen. A big red shadow looms over the Women’s Division in the form of this terrifying giantess. Her face so gruesome it remains hidden behind a demonic muzzle, her eyes devoid of mercy. Her true origins remain a mystery. “Babylon”, those in the know keep preaching, the City of Evil. Koko (hashtags: KOST, OGW) Height: 5.7 ftWeight: 150 lbsBilled from: Deep in the jungle Signatures: Face Wash Combo, Samoan DropFinishers: Gorilla Troop Slam (Gorilla Press Slam), Gorillahug (Bearhug)Lore: The Barefoot Brawler. Abandoned as an infant deep in the tropical jungles of the Congo, she was raised by gorillas, until she was found by American missionaries and brought to human civilization. Her Jungle Book-like upbringing shows in her ferocity both in and especially out of the ring. Lady Emmanuelle Height: 5.5 ftWeight: 125 lbsBilled from: Long Island, New YorkSignatures: Spinning High Kick, Triangle ArmbarFinishers: Beautiplex (Northern Lights Suplex), Beauty Hold (Last Chancery)Lore: The self-proclaimed “most gorgeous female wrestler in the Northern Hemisphere”. Her beauty is a valuable asset to the company itself, and anyone who dares touch that perfect face of hers will be met by a number of lawsuits, as well as Emmanuelle’s own wrath in the ring. TeamsRule 63 An unlikely alliance formed between Jesusa la Payasa, Alostrael and Koko, who have developed a deep, albeit very weird friendship over time. Their goal is ostensibly to revolutionize women’s gimmicks in pro wrestling. According to them, women wrestlers shouldn’t be limited to just playing some variation of “sexy girl” or “mean girl” on TV. Their motto is “Any gimmick a man can do, a woman can do better!”, hence they named their faction Rule 63. NEWThe Blue Bloods Nobody thought that Sir Ernest and Francois de Richelieu would ever team up. One is English and the other is French, and those two historically never meshed well together. But, they both crave power and they’re both despised by the locker room, so that was common ground enough for them to form an alliance. However, each man is truly looking out for himself in the long run. You can rest assured that one will happily backstab the other if an opportunity presents itself. On average it takes me less then a half hour to make a single character, but a move-set can take up to an hour. I have all of my assets categorized (Art, entrances, move-sets, etc.), but it's the horrible interface in create-a-moveset that shows everything down. An advanced search feature would certainly help, especially when browsing through the signatures/finishers list which is so freaking long. Anyway, I'll accept any comments or constructive criticism on what I've got so far. I have some ideas of what to make next, I'll just need to get around to finding the appropriate logos. Btw I try to keep my caws at 5 custom logos maximum because I understand some people might be reserved about downloading very logo-heavy caws.
