Man you really hit the nail on the head, Ive been posting caws here since 2007 and Ive taken an occasional year off here and there from 2012 onward but I have never seen a community die as fast as the SvR/2K community has. There used to be tons of topics on both the ps and Xbox boards now theres a handful over here and only 3/4 original showcases on the Xbox side. Its sad to see, from the online clans to online e-feds to tournaments and now its a shell of what it once was. I dont really understand it as I feel the gameplay has actually gotten more realistic and the creation suite has only improved (although the omission of the ability to create logos in game and carry over CAWS from previous years is sorely missed) I guess the arcade style of the SvR series was favored to the simulation style we have now. Sad to see for sure.

There's only one real factor that attributes to it really...the passage of time. When a lot of us old school creators started, we were still kids. Mid-late teens to early 20s. We're all adults now...late 20s to mid-late 30s. We've got social lives, jobs...some of us even children of our own. And with that...a lot less time to devote to not only creating, but following other creators as well. I'd always hoped that a younger crop of creators would eventually fill our ranks and take over...and that's not saying they haven't...just not in very large numbers. And a lot of them also use mediums like Instagram and Reddit to share their content. So it sadly seems as if the decline of the originals section will only continue. But fear not, I'll be here til the end or til I finally decide I've created my final CAW. I still got a few more years in me before that happens.

And speaking of CAWs...I just put the last touches on the last one I was working on. Female update #1 will be rolling out by night's end.

Hey OZ, I have to ask, What are your thoughts on what your brother has announced on one of his Youtube clips? Are you going to do the same as your brother is doing? For those that are reading this comment, His brother is 3XCAW whose used to post his stuff on this forum in the past & has decided to no longer try to post anything on this Forum but you can follow him on Youtube & Twitter to see his work has decided that this could be his last year of creating CAWS for us to enjoy unless 2k changes up the creator content in next years game! Feel free to go to his current Youtube Video which is under FINETUNE GAMING (All caps) to see his announcement.

With regards to to his decision to stop at 2K19, he made the decision for the sake of his CAW show, XWA. Having to remake 100 characters yearly is a tedious task, especially when you're doing so for the sake of actually producing cinematic content...which is a chore on it's own. So as far as that goes, it just makes sense really. Regarding myself, I don't plan on doing the same. I'll get the next version of each game until I decide I'm done as a creator completely.

As far as him no longer posting content here...well, that's a bit more nuanced. You see, my brother and I have been making CAWS since 1999, and actively part of the CAWS.ws original CAW community since 2004. We've been here a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long time. We've watched this forum go from the defacto destination for all things CAW related, where we could share our content and get hundreds of thousands of eyes on it to now, where my thread from 2K19 reached 46,240 views as of this post. The fact of the matter is...there's just no one here. Not like it used to be. 10 years ago when the new game rolls out there'd be thousands of people here, and at least 3 pages of showcases. As of me typing this there's only 15 showcases on the PS4 section of originals, 2 members and 2 guests. To say that's a staggering decline is an understatement.

I still post here because I'm not as active on social media as my brother. I avoid it actually, for my own reasons. But at the end of the day, you create content because you want eyes on that content. There are no eyes here anymore. Not like there used to be. Times have changed, and a lot of folk have moved on from here. Originals were always niche. You're more likely to get a lot of attention as a creator of real life wrestlers then you are originals. But the original CAW community here seems to be on a rapid and drastic decline...so much that my brother decided it's time to turn his focus towards a platform where he does have a larger audience.

OK! Thanks for answering my Question & looking forward to your Female CAWS later this week! Had no idea that it's been declined for the last few years!

Alright boys, here goes female update #1

Ashley Diamond

From: Philadelphia, PA

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 138lbs

Signature Move: Diamond Ring (Modified Russian Leg Sweep)/ Running Knee Strike 5 (Guzabushi Knee)

Finishing Move: Diamond Cutter (Gun Stun)/ Lioness Tamer (Liontamer)

GVqe5cD.png

The legendary "1st Lady" of wrestling returns with a slightly different look. While I kept her usual white & blue pallet for the attire, I decided to use different assets to give her an updated, yet similar look to last year's attire for the primary...opting for short trunks rather the tights this time. For the 2nd attire, the moment I saw there was a Wonderwoman outfit, I knew I had to make her a Themysciran warrior attire. I also made a new face texture based on actress Emily Blunt...but a more tanned tone rather then her being pale. (She has been living out in Cali with her hubby Ryan Fierhart for a few years now, so it would make sense she'd tan a bit out in that Los Angeles sun.) Aside from those aspects, her moveset is the same as last year.

Brittany Nitro

From: Las Vegas, NV

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 158lbs

Signature Move: Chest Reduction (Butterfly Lungblower 2)/ N20 (Handspring Moonsault)

Finishing Move: Nitro Drop (Side Effect 2)/ Full Frontal (Skull Crushing Finale)

uxGjXxW.png

Leader and "B" of the B.Y.C.H. faction, Brittany Nitro returns pretty much unchanged from last year's version Outside of me going for short trunks instead of tights on attire 1, a different image asset on the tights and a more vibrant ombre hair pattern. No need to break what's already a flawless character design IMO. I also changed a few moves, notably her standing front signature, because the backbreaker she used to use looks a little weak now that I've bulked her up to nearly 160lbs.

Crystal Bayless

From: London, England

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 132lbs

Signature Move: Decoder (Codebreaker 1)/ Crystalizer (Discus Clothesline 3)

Finishing Move: Sunrise Suplex (Fallaway Slam 1)/ London Dungeon (Dungeon Lock)

SBF6Cue.png

The grizzled British veteran returns for another campaign, ready to show she's still got what it takes to be counted among the best female wrestlers on Earth. 2019's versions slight variation from last year as far as attire. Pretty much the same motif, just different layouts of assets. Like Brittany, aside from a few move changes she's the same as she was in 2K18. The biggest change is that I decided to give her hair a splash of color with an ombre dye from her natural brown to a bright blond. In game it looks awesome.

Heather Fierhart

From: Los Angeles, CA

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 148lbs

Signature Move: Overburn (Spinebuster 8)/ Crack Shot (Flying Heel Kick)

Finishing Move: Firebomb (White Noise 2)/ Phoenix Splash

UtkDHpI.png

My longest running female character & wife of Dru Mercer, Heather makes her return with little change from last year's version. I decided to use the fire gfx asset I'd used on her in 2K17 for this year's version rather then the Asian flame gfx I used last year. Also, I made her 2nd attire an orange color swap of her original rather then the one I made last year...cuz that look ultimately got incorporated to Simone Fierhart, her niece. I rather like the more uniform look on her actually. The biggest change on Heather this year is her moves, as I swapped a lot of power moves for more technical stuff seeing as Heather is more lean and agile then she was in years past, where she was more power based.

Helena Troy

From: Detroit, MH

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 151lbs

Signature Move: Regal Cutter (Black Pearl Drop)/ Rolling Elbow 4 (Goodnight Kiss)

Finishing Move: Dirty Deeds (Helena's Wrath)/ Dragon Sleeper 2 (Helena's Spite)

d0lD5zi.png

Older half sister of Ashley Diamond and leader of the faction known as "The Coven", Helena is one of the most feared women in the industry. Her penchant for trickery is seconded only by her willingness to commit unspeakable acts of violence on anyone foolish enough to cross her. It's for that reason she's best known as "The Wicked Witch of The North". Due in part to the tights I'd used in her previous 2 versions no longer being compatible with boots, I opted to give her the 2K18 Dana Brooks tights on attire 1, and a completely new look for attire 2. I also changed her hair...because the hair with the bangs are no longer compatible with high collared clothing. (You're *censored*in' killin' me here, 2K...) As such, I decided to give her the Allison Kay blond streak down the front of her hair as a and added detail. Her entrance is also slightly changed due to Billy Kay's 2K19 entrance being different (Yet Peyton Royce has her current AND 2K18 entrances available. Again....you're killin' me 2K). Also changed are a few moves, namely her finisher. Same name, just a different move. A Double Underhook DDT is more fitting a move for her IMO.

And that's that. All 5 are available for DL as of this post going up. Tags are of course OZCAW and CAW19. They'll be up for duration of time it takes to get male update #2 done...of which I haven't even started yet...lol.

The ladies are gonna be up for a while. I started crafting for male update #2 last night, but there's a CRAP TON of content in my other main game Destiny 2 the next couple weeks, so I won't give an exact date as to when the next update will be done, but I'll get it out as son as possible.

Alright, boys...here it is.

Cody Prince

From: Venice Beach, CA

Height: 6'6"

Weight: 275lbs

Signature Move: Muscle Bomber (Dingo Bomber)/ Pump Up Elbow (Flex & Drop)

Finishing Move: Prince Driver (Michinoku Driver 3)/ Rack'em (Torture Rack 4)

NAfdthD.png

There's pretty much NOTHING changed of Cody aside from a couple move changes and new kneepads...but I really like how he came out this year. The new body models I think make for far more dynamic body types...and Cody's build definitely fits his aesthetic.

Damian Juarez

From: Miami, FL

Height: 6'6"

Weight: 285lbs

Signature Move: Throwdown (Chokeslam 8)/Miami Vice (Middle Rope Bulldig 2)

Finishing Move: D-Day (White Noise 2)/Sharper Edge (Swinging Neckbreaker 5)

bnj9PMx.png

Back for the 3rd year in a row is my rendition of DaClique's flagship character from the e-fed era. Changed this year is a little ink and a lot of facial hair. I decided to give DJ a beard to make him look more menacing as part of The Empire, one of CAW's heel factions, and I gave him a tattoo of the famed and feared warrior of the later Han/Three Kingdoms era of China, Lu Bu. There are a lot of parallels between DJ and Lu Bu in terms of personality, and the tat is symbolic of that.

Dylan Brody

From: Denver, CO

Height: 6'5"

Weight: 275lbs

Signature Move: Formula-D (Swinging Neckbreaker 2)/ Brody Kick (Bicycle Kick 1)

Finishing Move: Brody Bomb (Outsider's Edge)/Natural Athleticism (Diving Corkscrew Moonsault)

hk3Ms3t.png

This year for Dylan, you can clearly see what direction I went with him. I opted to mix his signature design with elements of both Tony Nese and Buddy Murphy. The end result is probably my favorite rendition of him yet. Also, I slimmed him down 10lbs from last year's version, giving him a more toned and vascular build rather then thick muscle like last year. Aside from that, an new entrance and some subtle move tweaks, he's the same as 2K18.

Jarret Caesar

From: Philadelphia, PA
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 236lbss
Signature Move: All Hail (Book End)/ Caesar's Laurel (Headlock Lariat Backbreaker 2)
Finishing Move: Gladius (French TKO)/ Emperor's Respite (TKO)
2dF2qoy.png
The newest creation in my catalog of characters from last year, Jarret is back with little change...namely because technically I JUST made him last month in 2K18. Only his kickpad layout and primary finisher has changed. Everything else is as it was in last year's game. The fact that I'm making him this early into the cycle should show just how high I am on the character. Like I elude to in 2K18...I've got big plans for the young man going forward.

Ryan Fierhart

From: Los Angeles, CA

Height: 6'4"

Weight Class: 230lbs

Signature Move: Side Effect 1/Rushdown (CCS Enzuigiri)

Finishing Move: Vicious Circle (Swinging Reverse STO)/ Razorwing (Running Superkick)

iL3I2yp.png
While his look is pretty much unchanged, I did use new assets for his attire. As you can see, I also returned him to having long hair for the 1st time in like 4 years or so and also gave him a new entrance. Aside from that, he's the same as he was the last couple of games.
All five are up and available on CC. Tags of course are CAW19 and OZCAW.

Hey OZ, I have to ask, What are your thoughts on what your brother has announced on one of his Youtube clips? Are you going to do the same as your brother is doing? Most personal forums have died in general. Forums just arent really in as much. Some gaming ones I go to staff barely go to them. But if you go to reddit, twitter, and etc they are easier to reach there. It is a shame.

Much oblige, fellas.

Any chance of your first group of guys being re-loaded, Primo and Jayson are among my usual favorites and I didn't get to them before they came down. Thanks in advance.

Not until I reach the next tier and unlock more upload slots.

"CAW is back for another year of wrestling EXCELLENCE. On the tale end of a landscape changing CAW Resolution 30 PPV, 2019 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive 365 days in the company's 51 year history. Indeed the new guard is challenging the old, and the pecking order is being reshaped. What future lies ahead for the wrestlers of CAW?"

Female Update #1

Male Update #2

Another year, another showcase of my characters. Ya'll know the drill.

"The Nightmare" Blake Evans

From: Hatford, CONN.

Height: 6'6"

Weight: 265lbs

Signature Move: Dreamweaver (Half Nelson Bulldog)/The Other Side "ToS" (Side Slam 1)

Finishing Move: Vertabreaker (Underhook Piledriver)/ Nightmare Fuel (Running Blockbuster)

3OXLBJj.png

The top heel of CAW, and one of my most popular (and most downloaded yearly) characters, Blake aside from a few move changes is exactly the same as he was last year. No need to reinvent the wheel.

"The Archetype" Dru Mercer

From: Cleveland, OH

Height: 6'8"

Weight: 350lbs

Signature Move: Hercules Cutter (Airplane Spin/TKO)/ Mach 5 (Back Suplex Side Slam)

Finishing Move: Event Horizon (Terminating Spike)/ Big Finish (Swanton Bomb 3)

yJPyWCx.png

One of my longest running characters, dating back to 1999. I made some subtle changes to his attire this year, removing the elbow pads and giving him more tradition boots and the new 2-tone trunks for a more "old school" look. Outside of that he's exactly the same as the last version of him I uploaded for 2K19.

Evan Slade

From: New York, NY

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 225lbs

Signature Move: Blackjack (Straight Jacker DDT)/ Altered State (Sit-Out Gourdbuster)

Finishing Move: Continuum Shift (Gory Bomb)/ Spear 5

zIR0FWM.png

Just like Dru, I made subtle alterations to Evan this year. The biggest change of course his his hair. The moment I saw the style I knew I had to use it on him. Again, aside from a few move changes he's the same as last year's version. (You're going to see that a lot with my uploads. Just a heads up.)

Jayson Jones

From: Brooklyn, NY

Height: 6'6"

Weight: 265lbs

Signature Move: Chin Chilla (Superkick 7)/ Golden Gloves Combo (Texas Jab)

Finishing Move: Brook-Nam Bomb (Sit-Out Powerbomb 4)/ King's Crown (Rolling Cutter)

MwfhEKq.png

Another one of my elder statesmen, Mr. Jones returns unchanged from 2K18... sort of. His move set is the same, as is his primary attire. (Aside from his walk-out shirt, which is brand new.) His 2nd attire is tribute to his time spent in Thailand training in Muay Thai, and one of my creative inspirations for Jay-J, Tekken's Bruce Irving. He's rocking custom Fairtex shorts in his signature Black/Gold/White color scheme. You'll dig it as much as I do, trust me.

Primo Valiante

From: Rome, Italy

Height: 6'6"

Weight: 285lbs

Signature Move: Show Of Power (Fallaway Samoan Drop)/ RomaPlex (Half Nelson Suplex)

Finishing Move: Fall Of Rome (Burning Hammer 1)/ Roman Crippler (Yes! Lock 2)

bdkn0bP.png

?Last year I overhauled Primo's design completely. This year sees no change to that design aside from more a cleaner facial hair layout and a different entrance jacket. Again, no need to really make that many changes to him, as I'm satisfied with his look finally after years of toying with variations of his old blond version.

All 5 are ready for action on CC. OZCAW and CAW19 are the tags. On the docket next, Heather Fierhart, Ashley Diamond, Helena Troy, Brittany Nitro and Crystal Bayless.

Cannot find these. Any chance you can re upload them?
