ECWDanSelby
Hi guys, I'm on the Xbox (standard edition) and really having some issues with slowdown whenever i'm using 2 CAWs in a created arena. Bear in mind these 2 CAWs and the created arena contain no custom logos whatsoever (only a few in game logos). Admittedly, the entrance way comprises of quite a few modules, but i'm stunned how much the game struggles in a standard one-on-one match. Has anyone noticed anything that particularly slows the framerate down? Are there certain parts in CAA that trigger it? Thanks.
CROSS-Out
The amount of logos (and logo size) definitely contributes greatly to slow-down. I have to be careful about how many 1024/516 logos I use if I use a 1024/1024 logo for the mat, for instance. Venue size also seems to play a part. The outdoor arenas seem to be worse for it than closed arenas.
X-zero
I only notice it with custom outdoor arenas as well. Using a lot custom superstars in normal arenas and custom indoor arena seems find to me.
PopUpPowerPost
Never had it other than 8 man matches and day time arenas with 6 or more caws or not.
rocky505
The slowdown only gets bad for me in singles matches when the camera changes for when the two superstars exit the top of the ring. 8 Man Matches is always slight lag to outrageous depending on what happens. ECWDanSelby
You may have hit the nail on the head there, guys - i'm using an Outdoor arena. I'll try changing it and let you know. Thanks.
ECWDanSelby
Gave it a go - definitely helped, but still wasn't anywhere near as fluid as other arenas i've made. I can only put it down to the entrance way. I used every set part, along with the Summerslam arch. I might try removing the arch (despite it looking fantastic!) and see if that helps. If not, use an arena that doesnt to (otherwise has to reserve memory youre not going to use, ie an invisible ring in the crowd). Also use in game loading screens etc. All plays a part (I notice if I spend to long editing, then play the game, crowd is mute except for moves). Another.. when youve created, and its saved, restart game before playing. Trust me, all these dumb little things make a difference.
