DLC date extended for 2K19

Doesn't really make sense unless 2k20 isn't going to come out til sometime in 2020. The last few WWE games have all came out in October each year so I doubt they'd wait that long to give people little time to enjoy the DLC.

They'd probably release the PS4- Xbox One versions then bring out the Next Gen installment sometime later like they did with 2k15.

I highly doubt PS5 and whatever the next Xbox is called are coming next year. Sony said that PS5 is still at least 2 years away. This could be just a placeholder for now or they are really planning to extend the games support till August. My hope is that they are offering more DLC packs instead of the usual 3, but the season pass seems to be the same price from last year (30$) so I doubt it.

I also said the same thing. They will be coming in 2020. I never said they are coming next year. Moreover PS4 production is going to be stopped and next batch of consoles will be the last from PS4 production.

Last PS4 consoles produced? Absolute nonsense! The PS3 stopped being made last year, the console is made for another 3 - 4 years after the new one is released. So if PS5 is released 2020, PS4 will probably end production in 2024 - 2025.

It could just be a placeholder, but it could indeed also be a symbol that 2K has more extensive DLC plans for the game. That'd definitely be nice, especially with the NXT influx. Maybe even 2 different move packs? That'd make me very happy, and I'd happily pay for 2.

Placeholder

Also don't listen to romanticking he's talking out his ass, neither company have said their consoles are dead

You'd prefer 2 move DLC packs than having the second set of moves in the base game?

Thats not even close to what I said and you know it. I said that if they're going to do DLC support further into the year than they usually do, I'd be happy to recieve a second moves pack. I never said I want them to take moves that would be in the base game and put them in the pack.

Do we? Anything to back that up at all?

All the DLC is announced before the game is even out. Heck, the first announcement is pretty much that Rey is day one DLC. That's all stuff ripped out of the game for dolla

I'm wondering if 2K are going to possibly do what other Sports games do, and have a live update service through the lifespan of the game? Instead of form and transfers / roster updates - maybe they'd release more regular packs with;

Revised personality traits / allegiances to mirror real WWE (for example an aggression spike for Bayley based on Raw)

New tag teams / alliances formed between in game superstars (for example Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt)

Revised / updated movesets (using anything already in game or included in a DLC pack)

New attires?

New logos?

New music / video (I can't imagine that's too difficult to implement)

This would be in addition to the usual four content DLC packs.

For people who are calling PS4 life cycle coming to an end is bullshite. Here is the article directly from the ceo of Sony.

[uPDATE] John Kodera, the PlayStation boss, offered some further details on his initial PlayStation 4 comments in an interview. Translated by video game industry consultant Serkan Toto, Kodera reiterated that the PS4 is in the final stage of its lifecycle. Over the next three years, Sony will take steps to prepare for the future, apparently.

He also said in 2020 Sony will take a dip in profits as its the cycling process whenever the new console is introduced. Just as 2013 when PS4 was introduced.

And coming to place holder thing before games the place holder was March in the description. Moreover it directly came from 2K, apart from 2K no one will have access to update the Xbox store. One thing is it can be a typo or they might have extended the DLC date or it might have to do with micro transactions and small DLC.

if its not a placeholder date and they are having dlc throughout the entire year, great, im all for it, buuuut, im not holding my breath.

if true, i want arena packs. 80's/90's/2000 WWF, ECW, WCW/NWA, and the old territories(AWA, USWA, Smokey Mountain, Georgia Championship Wrestling)

You know very well that i'm not talking about characters. You might as well go and say "all DLC everywhere ever is bad if they have it planned before hand!"

This conversation is stupid. I would be happy to have a second move pack announced if DLC support is going to be extended, thats it, that's all, i'm not arguing this anymore. I get enough of that from the forum whenever new info starts to come out.

If it is true, we might get more of the NXT stars in 2k19, maybe even perhaps some of the UK competiors (besides British Strong Style, I know they'll be in 2k19) from the first UK championship, and the recent one(Though that will probably not be likely)

I'm fairly confident the NXT stars pack that will be released in 2k19 will have:

Ricochet, the War Raiders, EC3, and Kairi Sane

I'm pretty sure Velveteen Dream and Andrade Cien Almas will be in the game fully. I hope Almas doesn't pull out of it, I really would love to play as him in the game...

how does "next three years" mean it's coming in 2019? I googled for a source and it's a month old which means it's coming in 2021 considering it says "next three years"... people were disputing you saying WWE 2K20 would come on PS5 when it's more likely 2K22 would
