Big Cass Released

Crazy.

Recommended Posts

Script: At MITB, I'll walk out the winner

Off script: At MITB I'm gonna show the whole world that you can't teach that when I kick Bryan's head off

He could do the promo as scripted but stall and take longer in delivering it, so it ain't going off script, but rather forcing them to cut another segment shorter

The thing with the promo was that he skipped rehearsal, but I guess actually reading is overrated.

And went long on it on the live version

But did he go off script? The answer is no.

If the script states do a 2-minute promo and he goes out there and do the 5 minute promo that's going off the script of the whole show which means matches have to be cut other promos have to cut everything else has to be cut

According to a report on WrestlingNews.co, a source has indicated that there was recently a backstage incident between Big Cass and his former girlfriend Carmella. Cass allegedly tried to reconcile with her and when she started to walk way, Cass grabbed her by the arm. Other wrestlers were present including The Usos and Erick Rowan and they stepped in to have Cass back away. Its possible that this was the last straw that led to Cass being fired.

From the Observer:

McMahon fired him at a meeting in Toledo prior to Smackdown. The reasons given were the 5/1 incident, as well as blowing off a rehearsal for a promo that Kevin Dunn has asked for and then going long on the live version of that promo. There was a lot of heat regarding the promo that Vince McMahon hated, and he fired the writer of it a few weeks ago. There was also an incident that happened on the European tour where he locked himself in the tour bus bathroom and then destroyed the bathroom and broke down the door when he couldn’t get out, because the lock malfunctioned and he believed he was being pranked. Because the door was knocked down, it meant the other wrestlers could not use the bathroom the rest of the trip in privacy, not to mention the damages it caused. There were said to be other issues regarding his behavior on the European tour. He also had enemies from years back from vociferously defending Donald Trump while in an argument with Sami Zayn about treatment of Muslims that ruffled many people’s feathers, although had nothing to do with his being fired.

Oh didn't know that. *Censored* him, then.

After the news broke on Tuesday that Big Cass had been released by the company, most people were surprised and wanted to know the reason why WWE officials fired him. It’s been a tough week for him because new reports continue to be reported revealing more and more details about how unprofessional and problematic he was behind the scenes.

According to a report from DirtySheets, WWE officials wanted to see Daniel Bryan beat Big Cass at Money in the Bank to end their feud and move him onto new things for the next three months that he’s actually under contract. Apparently, Big Cass did not react positively to the booking and actually had an argument with WWE creative on Sunday.

Cass also left the building immediately after his match with Bryan, which WWE officials do not appreciate. He was in a foul mood the next day at the arena the next day and did not like the idea of being the first one eliminated in the Gauntlet Match on SmackDown.

At some point during the say, Big Cass saw Carmella, the two have recently separated, in catering alongside 205 announcer Vic Joseph. Apparently, the two hang out regularly at TV, but Cass believed there was something going on between them and confronted him about it. Joesph claims Cass threatened to take his head off and to stay away from him.

He was already on thin ice with WWE officials due to his attitude and constant issues on television and backstage. It’s possible the confrontation with Carmella, who has become a major player in the company, was enough for the powers that be to pull the trigger on his dismissal. Unfortunately, his wrestling career will need to continue elsewhere.

Second that, f*** him. Sounds like the guys and gals in the locker room are going to be so much better off without that arsewipe around.

Always crazy when people get more than they deserve, then complain about not getting more. Cass feuding with Bryan was something he never measured up to. He never had any right to be put in that position. He should have appreciated every second of it, and thanked everyone involved for the rub. Instead, his head got big.

What does he think he's going to accomplish outside of the WWE that is ever going to compare to the time he spent working with Daniel Bryan? Does he expect to be RoH champion? IWGP champion? He's probably working this HoG show with Enzo...so he just went 12 steps backwards.

There's a difference between being frustrated in WWE because you have something to prove (ala Cody Rhodes or Neville), and being frustrated in WWE because you think you deserve something that you don't (100% Cass).

So, let me get this straight. What you're saying is saying is that they wouldn't have discussed how long he would go on with his promo at the rehearsal he up and decided not to go to. Right? I underlined it for you to make sure you're paying attention. It's almost like the only reason you post is to watch your post count go up.
