MyCareer having audio for me is not good. Since usually not all wrestlers have their voice recorded for the game. Which means MyCareer will still be the same way it has been in the past. Boring and linear. I really miss Road to Wrestlemania because of it's original story with voice overs and so does Showcase mode.

I'd happily take a RTWM style mode.

What is more linear than the RTWM mode?

I'm happy for a mode to have some direction. MyCareer feels absolutely aimless.

It's straightforward to keep something non-linear and dynamic if nothing really has much of a consequence. I feel like that's what we get with MyCareer.

I agree with Dan, at least make MyCareer to have some direction. Right now it is too linear. Level up, win the belts go to the hall of fame. Nothing more. At least have better story with branching stories. That's why I like MyCareer to be text based for more freedom.

And for RTWM I have no problem with the linear stories for this mode. It's fun to play as WWE superstars complete with voice overs. It's just like Showcase mode but with original stories. It's an alternate mode for gamers who are tired of MyCareer or Universe.

The fun thing about RTWM was that we got those what if versions of characters like Todo Americano Jack Swagger and Heel Rey Mysterio. And need I remind you of the greatness that was Tony The Army Guy.

I mean.. I recall peoples reactions when wwe 12 came out to the rtwm mode. I think some of you may have nostalgia glasses on.

Everyone has their own opinion. I'm sure there were a lot of people who had their problems with the mode, but that doesn't mean they speak for everyone. I haven't played WWE'12 since 2012, but I personally enjoyed RTWM; there were some pretty weird storylines, most of which I can still recall today.

I like the memory of the mode and the fun features it brought with it. However, I wouldn't want it back as a priority. The Dev team already has enough to work on as it is, so an elaborate story mode would only be a hindrance.

Thats not at all what i'm saying. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but people seem to be forgetting the things they didn't like (including on this board). The constant usage of the broken backstage brawls, the overusage of quick-time events, etc.

You can like that, i'm simply pointing out that some people might be remembering the good and forgetting the not so good.

I do remember being annoyed be too many backstage fights but the stories where still fun and that was one game, the rest didnt have that. Besdies, anything's better than MyCareer mode.

Also, Showcase mode relied waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more on quick time events. You'd be winning a match, then suddenly you lost, cuz Stone Cold lost it IRL or whatever
