We beat second place, and first lost as well so that's good. we tried our best to bottle it when our GK scores an OG with 10 mins to go tho, jesus christ

four points off the automatics now, but the games in hand every other team has continues to be a problem.

Another win. This time against a team who beat us 6-3 earlier in the season.

Shame all the results went against us tho. Still 4 points off the automatics. 9 wins in 11 is good shit tho. Will be annoying if it leads to nothing. We only have one mid week game left so the games in hand everyone else has will be interesting to see...

So before the match, we were the team with the best form in the last 10 and Wallsall were the team with the worst form in the last 10

We won, but only cuz a former Bolton player got sent off for strangling one of our players whilst they were 1-0 up with 15 mins to go, and then a few mins after that they gave away a penny. Like talk about bottling it lmao

All the mid week fixtures (except one) went for us, so a lot of teams *censored*ed up their games in hand over us. some teams still have GIH tho...

We are now only 1 point off the automatics and fun fact... the team we play next? literally the team in the third (league two has three automatic spots). win, and we go above them (although that might not be relevant after mid week, since again, teams with games in hand are playing so can go above us, RIP when that happens). I'll enjoy being only one point off automatics whilst it lasts tho. hopefully they all bottle it and we remain 1 point off the automatics

The game in hand results went for us. Kinky. Forest Green and Tranmere drew (the two above us) and Exeter lost (the team below us). So we're two off automatics after that, meaning a win in Sat puts us in the automatics depending on Tranmeres result (we have the early kick off so technically winning puts us in the automatics for a few hours at lesst lol)

Woo to the hoo, we beat third place. Was worried. We got to enjoy being in the automatics for a few hours since we were the early kick off lol. Shame tranmere didn't bottle their 3pm kick off, puts them above us. But, were only out of the automatics on goal difference now. 13 unbeaten with 11 wins. We need a big win to bridge that goal difference

awful time for a 0-0, win would've put us into the automatics (as 2/3rd play each other meaning at least one will drop points). oh well I guess

makes it worse when colchester only have 1 win in 22

The five teams below us all bottled it and lost so we're in the automatics. Didn't expect that holy *Censored* lmao

Are you ruling out the possibility of Bolton winning promotion then?

It's obviously still possible, especially when we're only out of the top 3 on goal difference but in all honesty we are terrible at finishing. funny, coming from us just going 15 unbeaten winning most of those, but those were down to things like penalties and massive deflections of someone's ass. We got lucky multiple times and in many of those matches we had literally 1 shot on target and won 1-0. Unless we suddenly find our scoring boots I'm not sure we'll be able to get into the top 3 and then the play offs are a lottery. Morcombe bottling their game in hand last night was useful though, since had they won they'd have gone above us. Does no one want to be promoted? everyone is bottling it every week. the top 3 is lava, apparently.

spend 80% of the match losing, then score a flukey cross-shot then their CB gives the ball to our striker in the box who couldn't miss from like 4 yards. jesus christ bolton stop doing this shit to me

but, thats back to winning ways and all the teams below us bottled it again (why does no one want promotion?)

we back up to 3rd and this time, we're two points clear of 4th. hopefully the blip in form is over.

6 games left...

and you know had we not been awful the two games before this we could've been seven points clear (actually, had we got those 5 points, we'd be joint top/second on goal difference). it's pretty crazy that, in the six games remaining, we could win the league or not even make the play offs. close table this season
