That said, I kinda think AJ retains and we eventually get AJ vs Bryan at Mania for the belt. Miz could easily challenge the winner of that match at Backlash. Miz winning the WWE title is on the radar for some time in the future...but not when it comes to AJ Styles. That isn't how you end a reign like AJ's. If anything, I would do face vs face, with Bryan defeating AJ in a wrestling classic. Then have Miz steal the belt off Bryan. But I would never want Miz to take the belt directly from Styles. That would feel super out of place to me. Styles needs to lose the belt clean in a wrestling match that is worthy of ending a year long reign. I'd rather Styles lose the belt to Joe...but, as far as Miz is concerned, the Bryan scenario is the only thing that would work for me personally.
