The money would've been better spent on a league to try and replace the MLS, with relegation and promotion in the August-May. American Handegg is only cared about in one country nothandegg is worldwide

Which one? If NFL didnt have worldwide appeal why on earth would they play in the UK once a year?

They're allowed to try and expand but I don't see any popular American Handegg teams in the UK/Europe

Its the time difference. From what I understand a UK team has been discussed before but isnt feasible due to the time distance/travel.

It would fail lol

and I was talking a "American Football" league in anything outside the US/NA. If they tried to open one here, 12 poeple would show up and they'd lose all their money

NFL isn't a worldwide sport no matter how much you want to pretend it is

NASL just folded. No American owner wants to invest in a team that has a chance to get sent to a lower division based on their results.

Plenty of American owners in European leagues

Yes, they own teams in country's where the sport is popular. USL teams right now only draw a few thousand people. Even MLS teams don't sell out every game.

The XFL is set to make a big announcement next week to reveal the eight cities that will host teams, but it appears the final list has been posted early.

According to a new listing on the league website, the following cities / regions will host teams in the inaugural season of the rebooted XFL in 2020:

Dallas

Houston

Los Angeles

New York

St. Louis

Seattle

Tampa Bay

Washington, DC

Earlier tonight, we reported DomainNameWire revealed the XFL registered several domain names yesterday, including three different formats each for 21 different cities and regions; the list includes all eight teams

Three teams have already been confirmed by various reports earlier this week; the first report came from KSDK St Louis / 5 On Your Side Sports Director Frank Cusumano, who said the XFL will bring a team to St Louis and their home will be the Dome at Americas Center (formerly the Edward Jones Dome). Later, WWE insider Brad Shepard reported Seattle would be the second city to host a team, but no venue was announced.

The third report of a team came today from separate confirmations from the The Washington Post and The Athletic / soccer beat writer Pablo Maurer. Both reported a team in Washington D.C. would play their games at Audi Field, also home of MLS D.C. United.

The league will officially unveil the eight cities and the venues they will play in for the inaugural season in 2020 during a live stream at noon EST on the league website and on Twitter.

They better stay the *Censored* away from Red Bull Arena.

Also i think this is gonna go better then we thing for at least a little bit. You got people all pissy cause of Kap taking a knee so you know Trump is gonna tweet "Good luck to the true football league XFL on their kickoff weekend." or some shit. And people will watch until they realize the quality is shit.

XFL in Dallas will fail because they will get no media coverage in an oversaturated market. Even though they play in the offseason of the Dallas Cowboys, we still have an NBA team and NHL team in full swing and an MLB team about to start spring training and all of the local coverage will be on those three teams. Hell, the Major League Soccer Team FC Dallas and the WNBA Team Dallas Wings barely get any coverage as it is. Nobody will care about Dallas XFL.

I hope they keep it separate to the wrestling this time. I think that's a lot of the issue with the original. Well that and it was rushed, so the teams had little or no chemistry, meaning the games were terrible.

Maybe St. Louis. They got the Blues and who else really?

Oh yeah, the Cardinals.

Bet Orton will randomly RKO someone during a St. Louis game.

St. Louis needs a team since the Rams *censored*ed them over. They made the town pay for renovations for the arena, then run off to LA, so the town is currently paying for a empty arena. They need something there.

Big stuff. Vince ain't *censored*ing around lol

Yowie Wowie my guy. He probably saw what the AAF did wrong and made sure NOT to repeat those mistakes. I think they'll do ok. AAF was fun (albeit you could reaaaally tell good players from the bad players.) Still kinda fun to watch post NFL season. And some of those markets really ate that shit up. I know Vince said he didn't want any social movement stuff from the players but hopefully some of them that stand out can be allowed to show some personality.

So will all of the teams be named the Experience?

They'll probably call the whole league the Best Football Experience.
