I hope one day, we'll get a good leader who genuinely cares about people.

We already have them. They just don't have enough money to get elected. And the laws that people like Trump keep passing are making it even easier to keep things that way.

Or perhaps they care too much about the people that certain groups are doing whatever they can to prevent them from being elected.

he was one of the brothers if you actually look at history of it Hitler was well like in America and England it was considered a good leader even if he was being an a****** to other countries this was all before all the stuff happened or was found out about

Contrary to popular belief and what people say Hitler was considered by history a good leader even though he was an a****** to just because your leader is an a****** it doesn't make him a not a good leader

The higher powers of the left absolutely force-fed the people Hillary over Bernie...but it wasn't because Bernie cared too much about people and they wanted to stop him from winning. It was because politics are politics. Hillary had more money, a bigger team, more people to pull strings. It was politics.

Quite the stretch to compare what happened to Bernie with the way that the right chooses to present themselves overall. A failed political gambit (ie Hillary screwing Bernie) is hardly the same as the blatant voting pattern that exists in right-wing politics (ie: always voting for the "patriot" even if they're blatantly not patriotic in the least, take purple hearts from veterans, don't know the words to the national anthem...I could go on).

Also, let's talk about the Bernie situation for a moment anyway...because I recall the media being the ones who screwed Bernie by continuously telling people that he had no chance, and had already lost to Hillary (all while the polls were still open, and that chance was still there). We now know that there has been Russian influence in the election process...and that is the exact kind of shit they would have been responsible for. The entire driving force behind that Russian influence was to give Trump a weaker opponent that he could actually beat. Hillary was always going to be that opponent.

Just to be clear....are you saying Russia might of been involved with Hillary beating Sanders? I just want to make sure, because that belief by anyone would show a misunderstanding of how democrats elect their candidate. Or they'd be saying that the Democrats are also in bed with Russia because the democrat super-delegates played a huge role in Hillary's victory.

I'm saying that for one reason or another, there were a lot of reports during the election process which kept saying that Sanders was finished (even when there was still time for him). Where the majority of those reports came from remains to be seen, IMO. So, yes...I think that the American flag, bald eagle, 2nd amendment-dripping meme posts that have been proven to be Russian at their source, in addition to the "Bernie has already lost, so don't bother voting for him" reports are the exact reason why Trump is president.

I believe that Russia wanted Trump to be president (and the current state of affairs make it obvious why). With that said, assuring that the weaker candidate (Hillary) made it through the primary by wrongly spreading false reports of Sanders already being eliminated, would be an obvious path to achieve exactly that.

not sure, but the democratic party definitely did. Then you had crazy Bernie bros who kept attacking anyone who didn't support Bernie, especially Hillary supporters, which turned them away. And on top of that, Hillary has been getting attention from the media so much that it was harder for Bernie to get noticed until closer to the end.

Bernie's rise was incredible, honestly, because he didn't get as much attention, had support from most politicians, had the money, or was well-known and yet he actually made Hillary sweat and lean more left.

As far as I know, Bernie and Trump's own parties tried to sabotage them, but only Trump beat the odds because he was more xenophobic than the others. Bernie gained amazing amount of momentum and had a chance, but Hillary's got support and name behind her.

Counters you saying he's always talking shit and trying to rile up people though. And excuse the grammatical error in the reply. :\

Trump didn't need to pump in money, he's a celebrity who can get free media attention. All he needed to do was say shit that the right wanted to hear, and he could lie brazenly and easily because majority of republicans care more about what agrees with their views than with facts. TBH I didn't even know about Bernie until Tumblr, and then he became a bigger and bigger name because he cared more about people than any other politicians.

But then the Bernie bros *censored*ed USA over by going to Trump when Bernie lost the primaries.

So there's a proposition to break California into three different states, and a lot of people are saying it's a bad idea because it'll add two republican states (north and south?) while the third state will be democratic. Hope that doesn't happen if true.

Also, Trump and the republicans under fire for putting immigrant children in cages. It's disgusting how they're even dehumanizing and abusing children.

And people like Trump... why again? Mass shootings every 3 weeks, and little kids in cages. What an awesome presidency this has been.

They like Trump because he voices bigotry and makes it okay. Same people who love Trump for his stance on "illegal" immigration and Middle East said Obama encouraged illegal immigration and was a Muslim or too friendly to Muslims even though he's been just as bad, if not worse. I seriously wish the liberals and left spoke up under Obama like they are under Trump.
